"Francis Ng was ready to run a marathon in New York City on Sunday but now the Toronto marathoner is instead looking to pitch in as the region recovers from this week's massive storm." worldtrv_ny User ID: 26220127 United States 11/05/2012 11:55 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | go ahead n sue.nobody here has any $$ left to pay u anyhow.what u want some water or a cookie?get real. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22000823 What's disgusting about this whole thing is that you're wrong... NYRR probably made even more money than they would have! They refuse to refund so keep the runner's money and all the advertisers and expo company's money, and then don't have to pay to actually put on a race. NYRR are the real selfish bastards in this situation! They should've taken the high road, cancelled the race as soon as possible and asked runners to divert their entry fees to relief support... Runners don't show up crowding everything, they get to save their travel expenses, and a large donation is made to help relief where it's most needed (a bunch a runners, running a few cups of dry rice out to victims is a terribly inefficient way to help.) Whole thing is a tragic disaster. Blame NYRR and Bloomberg for the marathon mess... greedy f-ing bastards. worldtrv_ny |

Don't forget to bring your own bottled water. I don't think you'll find any available. And make sure you stash in your jock strap as you'll probably get jacked for any water you have visible on your body. Good luck. If you were a true American baddass, which is rare these days, you go run water and electrons in big totes for those sorry fuckers who were stupider than you. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23097787 Maybe before criticizing people's intelligence you should probably get hooked on phonics, I'd go with the 3rd grade edition if I had grammar skills like you. Please point out the said discrepancies... LOL. It might take you a while. you go run water and electrons Reuters blogger Felix Salmon, down by the ravaged South Street Seaport, tweeted bright and early this morning: "Biggest problem: too many volunteers! Also, the unionized construction crews don't seem too happy." ... for all those telling the runners to go volunteer. More skilled, organized labor is needed, not volunteers. quit accusing the runners, who bring $350M worth of revenue to the city, of being selfish. worldtrv_ny |

Storm came days before their announcement. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26920743 yes, yes it is your fault No it really is not. It's all the people who are bitching because they were not prepared for the storm of the century, and in turn have to ruin an event that was able to be hosted by those who paid for it. But because those people were not prepared, they have complained to the extent that the city was forced to cancel the event. |
