I come from a medical family as well (I'm the blacksheep banker of the bunch) and they are all extremely upset and worried about this, there are going to be a lot of unintended (at least you hope they're unintended) consequences to this boondoggle...
Community healthcare clinics are already shutting down.
There is already an extreme shortage of doctors taking medicaid and medicare, this is only going to get worse.
People are now finding out that the insurance plans they've had for years aren't going to meet Obamacare requirements, so they are being shuffled to more expensive policy's...
It's a nightmare...

I would really love to start looking at this type of thinking more critically, I think it is at the root of most of our problems. America is about "Look at that beautiful home, I am going to work and have one like that also" but this attitude of "you should not have anything until I do" or " I should have a nice home and you should be my servant" has been growing like a cancer. Why are we tolerating this crap? And why are we not addressing it for what it is. Anti-American Jesus, a product of our public schools no doubt. These people risk years of their lives to go to school, they work long hours and get paid shit for being an intern, they rack up hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt. It's called making an investment in your future, it's called taking a risk and hoping for a return. It's Capitalism, and capitalism is freedom, it's the right to live your life as you see fit, do what you want, choose your own profession, take risks for gain, seize oportunity, it's the system that advanced civlization around the world, IT'S NOT ANTI-AMERICAN...IT IS AMERICA!!!
