The country is over, finished. Even the liberal "winners" know it. They killed the goose that laid the golden egg, and they don't want to hear about it. That's what all the "get over it" rhetoric is about. They know it's all over, when entitlements plus interest equals more than all federal tax revenue, and all they want to do is expand entitlements.

It was a good run, but too many people voted bennies for themselves. The liberals feel it in their bones, they just can't admit it openly. To admit it openly is to admit everything they stood for all their lives (free shit for all democrap voters) was a fairy tale that could not go on forever. So ultimately their lives were meaningless.

You're forgetting Rick Santorum type conservatives would rather stay home or vote for a "Christian" (Obama) then for a Mormon (Romney). It's simple fact. You do not know the Bible belt like you think you do.

If you read the article you linked, I don't know about states, but in Ohio the dropoff seemed as much if not more focused on heavily democratic areas. Most likely it's mostly liberal white males who didn't want to vote for Obama for whatever reason (I know a few friends who dislike him for his drone policy.)

Remember, his voting total dropped a LOT more from 2008 then Mitt's did. It seems likely a lot of these lost votes were ones he carried in 2008.

We did NOT vote for this, and I believe it will be proven in the coming days and weeks.

That said, I still don't believe our sackless lawmakers will do shit about it given their history to date....hope I'm wrong here, but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm with you OP this whole thing stinks of fraud. Hell even Obama's team were pretty much conceding defeat the last week leading up to the election. People were salavating at the fact to oust his ass I just don't by the BS that voter turnout was that low. Hell look back to 2010 people came out in force to vote against Obama and the Dems. well duh its because after 2008 a lot of voters realized that no matters who they vote for the country is going to be run by assholes bent on destroying the country. Why bother even voting. Don't crucify me folks, but I voted for W in 2000 and 2004. He won them fair and square because I voted for him. I voted Libertarian in 2008, so that election was fair too. Now it's fruad? Because I voted Johnson, 75% of the coutnry voted Romney and Obama won?

It's always been fraud, at least since 2000, and probably since 88 (let's be honest, the elite didn't have to fix 84 and had far worse problems between 60 and 80 that screamed a public vote).

The whites turned out. In fact i am sure the republicans turned out in mass. Problem was, the fight was already fixed, much like the races prior. No use whining about it, unless you want to do something to change it.

It won't be easily detected....because they probably just lowered each voting population by a bit....not obvious and across the board. I honestly do not think people didn't show. I think there was tampering. I live in a uber-liberal state and from my un-professional poll across my own clientele...( all female and all ages but mostly between 18-25 as this is a college town) there were way more Romney voters than I expected. I do not discuss politics as a rule, and I don't judge. Mostly, clients WANTED to discuss this election because of their unease and disgust with things as they are. Is it possible that they did show up but voted for another party. As was stated here time and again when it comes down to it if you vote for another party other than republic or democratic it becomes a wasted vote, and essentially a vote for the incumbent.

1. Romney pioneered Obamacare in Mass, was not going away with him in.

2. Romney was a dogshit candidate, possibly the only one worse than Obama.

3. People were voting against Obama, not for Romney
