Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27412420 [link to nbcpolitics.nbcnews.com] Boehner: 'Obamacare is the law of the land' EPIC FUCKING LOL! Agreed. But what did you expect? Both parties are not in power, the super rich are. Therefore, they are all complicit in heading the US in the same direction. A soft collapse (they hope)... so that the US loses its absolute power and then gives up its sovereignty for aid (the people will cry out for it eventually.) And then we will meekly join up under the world government. Or so they think... |

Find your own health care. Do you really want to take their pills or undergo their treatments. Take responsiblity for yourselves, stop looking for government or corporation to serve you, stop giving away your power. |

It appears that you cherry pick comments and embellish the rest LOL at this point it is best to allow obamacare to implode upon itself no external force necessary. If obamacare is left as it stands we will devolve into your and the British metered healthcare system. "While Obamacare is the law of the land, it is costing us jobs and threatening our health care," said Kevin Smith, the speaker's communications director. "Speaker Boehner and House Republicans remain committed to repealing the law, and he said in the interview it would be on the table." The United Kingdom admits to death pathways or death panels under future obamacare while Canada freely admits to excessively long wait times for treatments plus he appearance of allowing patients to die. SAWYER: But you won't be spending the time next year trying to repeal Obamacare? BOEHNER: There certainly may be parts of it that we believe-- need to be changed. We may do that. Wait times for cancer diagnosis and treatment are a significant concern for Canadians.[sup.1] Cancer is universally seen as a life-threatening disease, and the concern among physicians and patients is that prolonged wait times for diagnosis and treatment may result in cancers being treated at more advanced stages and with worse prognosis. Studies demonstrate that men with prostate cancer experience longer wait times for diagnosis and treatment than those observed for other cancers.[sup.2]-[sup.6] While the evidence that longer waits are associated with worse prognosis in prostate cancer is inconclusive,[sup.7]-[sup.16] it has been demonstrated that diagnostic and treatment delay are associated with patient and family psychosocial distress in this population.[sup.17,18] [link to www.thefreelibrary.com] |
telling it straight User ID: 1461054 United States 11/09/2012 11:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The House of Representatives has no power to repeal Obamacare. We needed a Republican president and Senate to enable Obamacare to be replaced. So nothing can happen. We're going to watch the destruction of the American healthcare system and the tentacles of the government will control all of us even more. Boehner's not to blame here. He's just telling you the way that it is. And he's going to have no choice but to give in to the president's bullying on the "fiscal cliff." |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 26476073 United States 11/10/2012 01:01 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The Healthcare laws that have been passed are the "law of the land", despite what anyone says. Non-compliance will not be an option. Regional Federal authorities and agencies will be tasked with ensuring your compliance. Just got an AARP mailer today that stated that my "deadline" to apply for "individual" health insurance is near. I don't have my own "individual" healthcare plan. I'm coverd under my wifes plan. I will not purchase an "individual" plan. Notice the emphasis on "individual". Medicaid and Medicare have run out of money. The Healthcare ponzi scheme is designed to attempt to force people into purchasing an "individual" healthcare plan. Instead of two people paying $100 for a joint healthcare plan, for example, under the "individual" mandate each person would pay less, say $75. This will increase the amount of money coming into the insurance firms because each "individual" is being required to pay. Under a joint plan two people are covered for $100, but under an individual plan each would pay $75, which results in a $50 increase for the insurer! Worked for a government contractor once that tried to force me to pay for health insurance through them, which at the time was illegal. I had insurance through my wife's employer, so I told them no thanks. They told me that it was NOT an option. The plan would have cost over $200/Mo at that time, which was back in the mid 1990's! I gave them my two weeks notice because of this, and other reasons, and was promptly terminated! One more thing. I think there is a very specific reason they want each "individual" to purchase healthcare insurance, and it has nothing to do with making more money or creating more jobs. It could be that each "individual" is going to have to have some type of universal electronic ID "on" them so that the "system" can recognize that person with 100% accuracy by reading their brainwaves in order to create a "brain fingerprint". This "brain finerprint" will be used to "authorize" that "individual" to access all their computerized electronic "personal information" like medical records, driving records, arrest records, payment records, purchasing records, banking records, travel records, phone records, etc., etc.. Also, this "brain fingerprint" will be used to locate and ID who is in a building, a vehicle, an airliner, a bus. Electronic tolling and ticketing would be a snap. Run a red light and the system will send you an "e-ticket" notifiying you that you've been fined and that the amount of the fine was automatically deducted from your electronic bank account! Check outs at the super-mark-ets would no longer require "checkers"! All you would do is walk into the store, pick out what you need, and walk out the door! The price for the items will be automatically deducted from your bank account! How convenient! Ultimately, this "brain fingerprint" will be used to authorize an "individual" to "buy or sell" in the global electronic mark-et-place! Joseph Biden even talked about "brain fingerprinting" during a confirmation hearing for a supreme court judge! |
