I think the economy is going to crash, but celente has been wrong about the timing over and over and over and over and over again. He's trying, but he fails to understand that the game is rigged. He's basing his doomish predictions off regular economic principles which do not apply anymore. The economy will crash exactly when they want it to crash. Everything is controlled completely now. There IS such a thing as the plunge protections team, they are a bunch of guys in hotel rooms buying stocks with unlimited taxpayer money. The economy gets a little boost and people think someone knows something they don't and they start to buy as well, the ppt backs off and it all looks natural, its all all rigged. When it goes, its not going to be a little at a time, or 300 points here and there, when it goes, the bottom is going to drop out and if you don't have supplies, food, water filters, a way to cook food, guns plenty of ammo and a way to heat your house, you are most likely going to die.

With Celente's perfect prediction record, I'm definitely going to heed this one. I'll have to hit the store tomorrow and replinish all of the supplies I used up during the last 4 socioeconomic meltdowns he predicted.

What happens? Have you seen the pictures of Greece with the citizens rioting in the streets?

Huh? It was bankrupted long ago...by dems and repubs. Don't be so naive as to blame it on one person.

Obama has added more debt than any of them.

People who are age 50 or so will continue to invest in stock market otherwise, they will never be able to retire.

Emerging markets and international markets might be good way to break up your assets instead of just USA stocks.

Of course holding silver/gold is nice if you have some physical in hand.

People know they should be more self reliant, so you should buy heirloom seeds and grow your own gardens.

Seriously, what will really happen to affect all of us working or non-working common folk? Will food disappear from the shelves? Will our banks not let us get our savings out? Will there be a gas shortage? Power outages?

How do we know without any question that the economy will crash in the first quarter of next year? Simple: the appearance of political unity. The politicians in BOTH PARTY'S, in order to protect themselves, know that they cannot point fingers at the other; or risk the end of the political system itself. In order to maintain control (2 party system) they will claim that the "panic" was caused by global forces.

It's called a "panic"......a run on everything. It's not like you were not put on notice months ago...anyone who does not have a stuffed pantry; 250 gallons of gas; cash on hand; physical gold/silver; generators; guns and ammunition has been living in a cave or under a rock; or, dumb as a rock.

2 options:
Every man for themselves and you better hope you have supplies and the means to produce your own

or
more likely

Certain jobs will be required to be working, nurses, utility and/or certain TECH, cops or they may be replaced with military and every thing else stops completely and that includes transactions such as paying your utilities and that's why those workers may be forced to work for no pay under this option.

The "adjustment" will be a good thing...people who live in the rural areas will be fine; those who live in the cities? No so good...initially, riots; and then: property and violent crimes. Those who recieve welfare will not have the financial means to venture out into the rural areas to plunder....as such, the military will move in and detain the parasites; then, transport them to the neighborhood concentration camp to provide basic needs and security until and unless the dollar is restored (gold/silver standard)...
