White House deluged with petitions for secession

You need to go through your state capital and not the federal government if you want your state to leave the union.

I hope they all leave. If you want to disrespect our president, GET OUT!!! It's going to take work and sacrifice to get the country back on track. We don't need racist misogynist men as leaders in this country.

True secession isn't something you petition. It is something you DECLARE. YOU DON'T ASK FUCKIN PERMISSION TO SECEDE. You just do it.

Not a good idea to sign any petition or sign up with any political group anywhere.

The problem is right in their own state.

Petition to DC will only send them a list of names of dissidents.

The ability to create the petitions is something that the Obama administration promised and delivered on because:

“We want to hear from you. If a petition gets enough support, White House staff will review it, ensure it’s sent to the appropriate policy experts, and issue an official response.”

Until a proposed governmental structure (laws), revised Constitution (laws), and proposed means to address fiscal responsibilities and liabilities (laws) that would outline the state's continued operation separate from the US Federal Government and the protections defined by means of the US Constitution (as these states would surely now be at-odds with the US) - you have no idea what you're actually promoting.

This is akin to loading the family in the car for vacation, though no preparation, no packing of clothes/ food/ supplies, no determined destination, and not even a determination of direction of travel has been made. You are then traveling an unknown path, headed for unknown interactions that may well likely include many unforeseen troubles and calamities - and your family is now an integral part of this very dynamic equation. Just because there is fuel in the car doesn't mean you're prepared for the trip.

Many states are similar to my own (Colorado), in that the majority of the state is populated by working, keep-to-yourself, small government supporters. However, it is the few larger cities within said states (Denver and Boulder for example in Colorado) that overwhelm the representation of the state to be considered as a liberal one.

Of course, a majority of the citizenry are interested in returning to the "freedoms" we enjoyed in the recent past. The dangers are that, until specific language is recorded to determine the path, direction, and ultimate destination - you may well be trading off for another government that has even greater desire to influence and control your life.

These petitions will be ignored. They will receive no real media attention and life will go on as the gubmint sees fit.....just my prediction.

Anybody who puts their name and address on the whitehhouse website for anything but fawning praise is just asking to be put on a DHS watch list.

Besides, those petitions are not coming from the states so they don't matter at all. Any real secession effort would have to go through the state legislatures and governors first and there would have to be a vote of congress. Not gonna happen. Hell, we can't even impeach the lying treasonous marxist in the Whitehouse. What makes anybody with half a brain think congress would vote to allow the states to secede?

30 states will be succeeding from the Union.
