The kicker is that the rich make damn sure the poor stay poor so that they are willing to sacrifice their lives in wars of economic opportunity for the financial well-being of their family.

All currently enlisted military personnel need to look at how our government is currently treating veterans and realize they will be shit on even worse if they lose anything less than their life.

It would be nice if this only cost us a grand... then it really would be a bargain.

I wonder who tells you those statistics? Gov't, perhaps? Whatever!
My family certainly isn't rich, but at least we don't live on welfare, and we're struggling enough as it is, yet almost 1/3 of our income goes to taxes! Hell, we'd be better off if we did live on welfare, but such a scheme goes against my principles.

The only way nearly 50% of Americans get away with not paying taxes, then I'd bet they're all unempled and possibly living on welfare or unemployment. Even my 89 yr old retired grandmother pays taxes. Some people are seriously naive!

You forgot that the top 90% recieve 85-90% of the income, so 70% of the tax for the rich is still a deal, and screwing the middle class or lower class!

i disagree. i don't believe Barry has shown any kind of leadership at all in the last 4 years.
