No tv No sugar No video games No public school No processed or fast food They must earn their rewards Mom is not allowed to work until they're in school full time Constant guidance and teaching Out doors all the time Lots and lots of exercise Lots of reading and writing All organic diet No tap water You know...the basic common sense stuff. My kids are calm, mature, dependable, articulate, thoughtful, sincere, and tough as nails. |

But I gotta tell you, they almost never are truly grateful for anything. And yes, when they become teenagers it gets worse. Much worse. True. Then we grow out of it (hopefully) sometime in our early twenties and realize that we had it good. Something else to keep in mind.. I stay at home with my two boys. My husband works. When he comes home they're all over him. Not because I'm telling them to ask him for something, but because they haven't seen him all day and are happy to see him. They associate him with a different fun than what Mom provides. I think your children do love you, its just hard to be bombarded at the end of the day when you've come home exhausted. "Religion is like a penis, it's fine to have one and be proud of it, but when you take it out and wave it in my face, that's when we have a problem." |

I needed it to be the man I am today. So yah do the world a favor, if you suck as a parent or simply can't/don't want to deal with kids in this rediculously PC era. Then don't have them. |
