The world is Broke, there is no money it is all debt. Leaving beyond our means through easy credit, thinking of history as linear, and that we cannot fail, cannot collapse is dillusional and ignorant. We chose the easy way and now it is biting us in the ass. It may not be fair, it may all be contrived and planned. I just wish people would stop blaming it one one person or party. Americans have to take responsibility for their choices. If you always vote for the guy who promises you the easy road and free shit this is where you end up! Perfect example is Reagan. Carter warned america in his malay speach in 1979 that this is where we were headed if we did not sacrifice, and here we are.

The generation that fought WWII understood sacrifice,,, offer up a rationing program today and people would fucking freak. Easy credit, living beyond our means, wanting to keep up with the jones', Having the cool shit you see on t.v... this is the attitude of americans. We have yet to wake up cause the cable is still on, you cannot see the bread lines, the media is owned, Propaganda is the rule of the day. Brainwashed, dumbed down, I guess we never had a chance. When you consider haw much t.v. the average american watches a day, it is no wonder.

Even if you could get back the 56,000 factories closed since 2001, I doubt you could find enough people to work in them. The gen xers, and millineum gen are opposed to hard work or manual labor. Getting sweaty is not their idea of a good job. Degrees in Liberal arts and Buisness, we were told to go to college and get a good job so that we did not have to work as hard as our parents and grandparents did. That is why we have no farmers, no innovation. The last thing america invented was Spanks. Our number one export is Trash, number two is the dollar. We have off-shored our manufacturing base, we have allowed the idustrial centers to collapse and rust, the UAW and Teamsters insured that big buisness would leave this country as it is impossible to pay the labor here. We score at the bottom of the industrial world in Math, Science, and history. We have 4.8% of the world population and 25% of the world prisoners... free labor! The U.S. does not make enough actual good for foriegners with reserves to buy. Consumers are too indebted to borrow, with debt at 136% of income. Banks are too insolvent to lend, as they are 650 trillion invested in credit default swaps. Payroll employmnet is less than it was in 2001 after a decade of population growth. The U.s. economy would have to add 180,000 jobs a month to keep up with people entering the workforce be it through college graduates or 18 year olds entering the work force. As of 2/9/2012 70% of the federal budget goes to individual assistance programs. The U.S has more per capita debt than Greece, portugal, Ireland or spain. German banks are leveraged 32 to 1 Lehman was only 30 to 1. A one percent increase in the average interest rate would add $88 billion to the treasury's interest payment this year alone. This is not conspiracy it is math!

But I guess that was the point of dumbing us down... so we wouldnt see. The Reese committe unconvered the control of the education system in the U.S. in 1954, no one listened. Carter warned us, noone listened.. I guess it is too depressing to face the truth.

I was about to say, this has been in the making for far longer. Today's generation is the "gimme" children because now, people have become dependent on the government to save them. Things don't work like an Amish community where everyone does their work and helps give back to the community, but rather, our government basically destroys everything it touches.

It means basically that they have cooked the books, the loans taken out whether it be houses, student loans, cars, ect are not being paid back,, ever. the banks bundled all the sub prime loans into derivatives and sold them as AAA loans...
