This is crazy , I seriously had a dream last night that I looked up in the sky and saw lots AC130's and A10's flying overhead . Not sure if it has anything to do with this or the fact that the A10 is my fav plane ever made .

The Apaches from Ft Hood train out at a gunnery range near Brownwood (they fly over the house all of the time) and last Friday the ground support convoys were headed that direction on the highway by my house. They do this all of the time and are probably staging off site near Brady for their annual training exercise. DOOM OFF !

I've also seen the new tan armoured car jeep things being stashed for sights on end... I never saw the end of these cars, just miles and miles of them when I was driving in the freeway from Austin one day.

I believe you OP. We had a large amount of Humvee movement on Hwy 202 in Arizona just about an hour ago. Eyewitnessed by my husband. he did take a pic but he's at work so I don't have it. Military is 'getting in place' for something.

Last spring I saw and counted at least 30 Chinooks flying past my home. (Eastern KY)

typically you will see 1 or 2 every once in a while here...

but never 30!

I heard them for about 10 minutes before I went out and started counting them

I was like "huh... wonder what the hell that is about?"

Well its months and months later and nothing happened.

Yeah , I have major respect for the A10 and I guess mainly the pilots of A10's they are not affraid to fly their birds into some nasty situations and they usually deliver ! The SR71 is a cool plane dont get me wrong but it is usually way up high above the danger where the A10 is down in the shit . Kinda like the difference between a marine gunny and a naval gunner's mate .

i'm in cypress, tx. something went over us couple hours ago. i didn't get to the window in time. but there were lots of something & they sounded big.

Lot of BIG planes flying over SW AR very late last night sounded like they were heading south
