This is old news. Joe Neubarth pointed out on this forum in 2005 that the illness that was spreading all across China was a varient of Ebola that the Chinese had developed in their Bioweapons Lab in Szechuan. It was killing thousands of people in that province, but since it was so lethal the virus added to its own destruction along with the Chinese People's Army exterminating whole villages to keep it contained. The soldiers who were involved in that mass extermination were marched into a massive coal mine and the entrance was blasted shut. So much for any of them passing on the virus.

The Chinese were ruthless in trying to contain it. What they did not contain was a varient of the virus that was passed in pigs. If any human came into contact with pig meat and had even minor nicks on his or her skin they died within a day or two of contact. That means they lost a hell of a lot of butchers in China. That strain of ebola was not an air passable strain, so it was eventually contained, too once the herds that were contaminated were disposed of.

Where's the evidence that Ebola causes anything at all?

There are dozens of causes for hemorragic fever, and Ebola is just a bogus cause put forward by the panic business.

nothing is impossible

i'm having trouble finding the link, but in the early 90's some 20 lab monkeys died in a CDC center from a form of ebola that only harms monkeys. The catch is they were never in physical contact. It got through the venilation shafts, and some monkeys seperated in another room all where dead...i wish i could find the link, but its buried now in google because of this news article from today

This is super old news. As in, two decades old news.

The Reston strain of the ebola virus (aka the Reston virus) has been airborne for a long time, and as in the op, was discovered in macaques. But it isn't really infectious to humans so all the people freaking out in here need to chill the fuck out. Yes, the Reston virus is airborne. Yes, it can be transmitted from pigs to macaques. This is all very old news.

It is totally non-pathogenic to humans though. Calm down!

My group worked on the Preston situation. Not all of the monkeys were dead. One got loosed in the room and they caught it. I don't know if twas airborn but it was a virus that didn't affect humans..

I have been trying to warn people for days now, but everyone is so caught up with the war in the middle east which is huge but prophecy is being played out right now, read the bible. Turn back to the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. I have been told from within that people are going to start dying, it will be virus an epidemic unlike this world has ever seen. Get right with Christ and repent of your sins, this is no joke..It's coming. So many people have had dreams about this, just go outside and look around actually look at the people around you. Many seem to be in a zombie state already and look sickly, so many people are coughing for no reason also. This is a targeted epidemic that is coming, look at the Denver murals.

genes evolve mutate nothing is impossible and if this is true could mean some troubles lay ahead

If one form of Ebola can be transmitted through air, you can count on labs having found the gene and added it to a human-fatal version.

5 stars cause it was news to me about the air-borne ebola.

There are, however, so many other illnesses that have been weaponized, it really isn't important in that regard. It would be a real problem, however, if this form combined in the wild with the human-fatal version, especially because of the long incubation period of the illness. It would likely be halfway around the world before we knew what had happened.
