Quoting: Anonymous Coward 6732797 Hmmm...I was thinking I should get AC/DC to go give that poor womans titty a break. But if Pink Floyd wants to volunteer, fine by me...let's you just keep thinking them happy thoughts. A bit before your 10-20 year reference. They were cutting edge at the time. Mastadon? Really? Good thrash, but the vocal style has no range. Adversity is inevitable, misery is optional. Do or do not. There is no try. "The enemy will never attack where you are strongest...He will attack where you are weakest. If you do not know your weakest point, be certain, your enemy will." Sun Tzu |

Maguyver User ID: 808852 United States 11/21/2012 12:10 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The most underrated concept album of all time? Amused to Death by Roger Waters. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 6732797 No album does a better job describing the world we live in. "The Bravery of Being Out of Range," starting at the 17:40 mark, perfectly describes Dick Cheney. I'm trying to think of something Roger Waters was involved in that wasn't a themed album of sorts. I haven't listened to this, but I'm going to here in a bit! After his Pink Floyd days, he seemed very melancholy and depressing so I haven't followed his work after that time. Certainly worth a listen, though! Adversity is inevitable, misery is optional. Do or do not. There is no try. "The enemy will never attack where you are strongest...He will attack where you are weakest. If you do not know your weakest point, be certain, your enemy will." Nearly 25 years on and the original Mindcrime has held up pretty well. It was quite well received at the time. To each his own |

Honorable mention goes to Spock's Beard : Snow, or Neal Morse : Testimony. ~Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity~ |
