Best concert you've ever been to

Grateful Dead, Soldier Field Chicago early 90's

Sting opened and it was pouring rain. The Dead came out and the skies cleared and God and Jerry smiled on my soul that night. Never the same after that. Met a beautiful little hippy chick named Shelly from Indy. Should have married her that day.

1996 release of Tool Aenima at the Warehouse in Toronto, only 1200 people, backstage and got the set list.

I had my sexual debute that day. On a carpet flor in Norway. With that show live on TV. I think The Cars was on with "Drive" when I hit third base:)

My best consert was AC/DC in Norway back in 86. When they still had the powder cannons and Brian actually played the Bell with a real sledgehammer on "Hells Bells". Those cannons is by far the loudest noise I've ever heard on a consert!! Angus was absolutely out of this world that night. Must've been som real good speed in town.....
He fell off from his Marshal stack and broke two ribs. Was carried out and taken backstage where someone put on some bandage around his chest - all while he was still playing - and then came back on stage just in time to do his striptease:)

Next up must be Pink Floyd in 87 and 94.

Boston. 9th of 10 sold out shows in Worcester in 1988. They played "Third Stage" in it's entirety before taking a break and coming on for second set to play pretty much their entire playbook.

parliament blues festival, beacon theater nyc roughly 90. had just seen stevie ray vaughn and jeff beck at the garden(incredible show in its own right), hopped a cab up to the beacon, copped the last 2 tix to the 2nd show. buddy guy, john lee hooker, fabulous tbirds, and about half the real blues folks still alive at the time. hours of awesomeness!! stevie ray and beck crashed the gig, btw. stevie played half their set with the fab tbirds, upstaged his brother a couple of times, even stole his solo, rofl

I've seen so many, but if I'd had to pick one, it would be Jean Michel Jarre, Paris, La Défense, July 14, 1990. 2 million people attended the show - I believe it's still the world record - and I was completely in the front.

Lots of symbolism during the concert, but I was a young man at the time and had no clue.

The 6 Pink Floyd /Roger waters concerts were amazing.

Simple Minds for best atmosphere ever.

Led Zepellin was also great.

1st one was a good one

Soundgarden,nirvana and Alice in chains. I fucking dare you to beat that. Then follow that up with pearl jam at iguanas in tiajuana mx when Eddie jumped from the ceiling into the crowd. I fucked a girl on the bar while Eddie jumped......... Epic.
