Being a photographer I decided to try and photograph the sun a couple of days ago with just a Canon 7D using a 200 mm. lens and an extender, plus neutral density filter. I was able to see that huge sunspot AR1618 in the shot and that is without a telescope so it must be pretty big.

It's supposed to hit Sunday/Monday.
Should be quite a show up north.

Haarp status is a bogus website. No solar storm will disable the haarp monitors. Only an idiot will believe in that website.
