I am not tired of life yet, so no.

I am currently an accounting analyst/project manager.

I do nearly all of the cooking.
Mostly done on the grille, but I can bake some breads and can handle a skillet.

Fried Catfish and grits is one of my favorites.

Stay away from windows in tall buildings ;)

i own a business, have a 8 bedroom home, 3 kids


but i hate cooking, TV dinner for me..and the wife rarely cooks

When I went to university, the residences were townhouses. Rather than eat at a cafeteria, students had access to an on campus grocery store and were required to cook for the dorm once a week. I couldn't cook when I started university, but sure could by the time I left. It was a great real world skill.

Bullshit...if you want something done right ya gotta do it yourself...a 30K a year chef doesn't make enough to give a fuck, normally...cooking is an art.

first off thanks for posting this... i often wonder also..

i have many friends who can not do shit. i mean nothing at all. i grew up in the country and had to learn to fend for ourselves.

something every person should know is to hunt, fish and dress (cleaning and preparing), then cook their own food. learn to gather good plants from the wild and grow their own garden. it is important for their health and well being.

it is funny how you can amaze people with a simple dish of food that taste super.

my friend are always in awe over the food i make and serve. BBQ, chili, hot sauces, dips and salsa's some of the things i am know for around my friends..

the love the garden my wife and i grow and the food we share..

Depends on what you 'mean' by 'cook' ?

If you mean it's eatable, NO ONE dies, 911 is NOT dialed, or stomach pumps used, I qualify !

Third wife warned me before marriage she 'didn't cook'; only baked. She lived here for 27 years, left alive and generally never complained !

However, I don't have much ambition to cook when alone.

Need another 'companion.... one who loves washing dishes, making beds, giving REAL: hugs/kisses, does WINDOWS and doesn't nag !

I'm, now taking applications for the position. Only qualifications .. Alive mentally, strong desire to please, FEMALE, and no physical/mental 'baggage' !

My husband can cook, but since he supports me while I take care of the baby, I do it. Not saying he never does, but it's so rare when he does so it's a big deal.

I taught my son to cook, since so many women think it's cool not to be able to.

He cooks up 'trouble' !

I can cook, or someone else can cook.

I'm not too picky about what I eat so long all the sources are known and direct from the non GMO garden or the animals that I know personally, and that there is good balance and curative properties in all the food.

Also I like all source water to be solar distilled and all salt be laboratory grade.

But I'll eat the tacos they serve in the street, with stink bugs (jumiles) piled on top for flavor, or the roasted giant grasshoppers and ants that the Indian kids have been selling for snacks lately.

I can boil a pretty mean hot dog, then use the water to make ramen noodles.

Wash it down with a tall frosty glass of Moose Drool.

Thats sad now that i think about it i'm 20 and i can't cook

It's pretty easy. Prep as much as possible BEFORE you turn on the stove/range.

Then, keep the heat down a bit, and take yer time!

Bit like sex, really.

my Sicilian mother taught me to cook at a young age, also to clean and do laundry. She didn't want me marrying poorly just so I could eat/survive :)

only one girl friend from SC was a better cook than I but I learned lots!
