Something strange just happend...

when my pilot light is out, happenes every few months for some reason, I have it well protected from wind (in mobile homes, gas tanks are in an outside closet), I restart it myself too, not hard to light one. I do not expect help for that which I can do myself. I cannot rebuilt a car engine for example. or work on my roof, my balance will not allow it. I get the help on things I cannot do myself or afford.

AA Raphaels team did a hernia repair on my friends cat too. discovered by vet the day she took in cat for surgery. vet knew it was a "miracle". she serves god and was strapped for money at the time. you have guides and angels all around if you are godly in intent that do all sorts of things for you, like prevent accidents on the road or greatly reduce the crash coming. People usually know in these situations the divine, however they believe in it helped them.

It's pretty obvious what's happening here. The atoms of the water in your hot-water heater have become quantum entangled with the atoms of the OP's water in his unheated kitchen sink. So, as your hot-water heater is heating the entangled atoms in your tank, the atoms are changing places with their counterparts in the OP's sink; leaving you with cold water in the tank and the OP with hot water in the sink. Probably been happening all the time..

It's very disappointing not to have water angels! I'd call the boiler man and explain the conspiracy ;)

i don't know if strange snow fits in too? but a huge story years ago,somewhere really cold/icy,a little boy 2 or 3 got lost in wilderness,all desperatly trying to find him,but by next day were looking for a body.except they found him fine sitting under tree,he insisted 2 huge elks came up and laid either side of him all night,the police etc took film of the boy,with 2 big patches of melted snow by him,no footprints in or out though,who knows?

Convection of heat into the metal sink .... probably got low power heaters in the sink 15-20 watters heat strips.

In all seriousness, I admire your faith, your God has dealt you a pretty shit hand by the sounds of it, and you still offer him your all, I really hope your financial situation improves and life hands you some luck in the future.

This does sound strange. The only thing I can think of is some sort of chemical reaction. Rotting food particles(like a compost pile) give off heat . It is also possible a slightly acid water was reacting with your stainless steel sink somehow. Just a thought.

ok,this just got spooky for me,i was nearly murdered.coincidence i hope.

possible explanations:

- morning sun hits water
- potassium whatnots
- heat source from fridge, brickwall thermal battery heated by sun, etc.
- sleepwalking is a good one
- burglar or kids, animals involved...
- maybe a layer of soap or certain air circulating in the room insulated the water and prevented the heat to escape.
- maybe you were so cold in body temperature that you felt the water "warm" but actually it was at ambient temperature.
It is not uncommon to wake up with frozen hands and feet these days with the coming winter and the windy weather.
- do you have organic garbage under the sink? Does it stink? aha! bingo! There is a heat source, and a powerful one too!
- Do you have an In-Sink-Araetor watchamacallit grudogruder thingy? could be shorting out.
- Anything that can cause electrical shorting?
Do check your light bill and compare diligently.
- Are the pipes or anything next to the sink exposed to the morning sun?

Could it be a combination of any of these?

Finally, have you ever had water angels visit and/or protect you before?

If your hands are cold, cold water can feel warm.

Also, metal can insulate. It can store cold, as well as heat.

If theres potassium in your water, wow... lol

I like the water fairy idea, except that keeping your water hot in the sink is not really helping that much. There must be another explanation.

There's another strange phenomenon that hot water turns to ice in the freezer faster than cold water. It's called the Mpemba effect
