Los Angeles 10 day shows a bit of rain tonight, and just partly cloudy the rest of the week. Must just be a mountain warning - we get those a lot here in San Diego County, all late summer, severe thunder storm warnings by the dozens, but they only affect those in the far east side of the county where the mountains are and few people live.

I'm in the Ohio valley weather system area.

We have had in the last two maybe even 2 1/2 weeks a very big up kick in animals at our house and in our house.

We had one cat show up and stay last one this past week made two.

We had a bird come into the house to our kitchen.

We had a raccoon to be evicted out of our house today by broom and yelling.

To make matters worse we have had to step out side and a full sized black bear off our porch twice today.

It just runs right back around the house and will come right back.

I have no idea why after all these years since 1978 we here in October November of 2012 are having critters from opossums to raccoons to bears to birds to cats trying to live in our house and at our house like this.

We have never had such as this...they are all in good shape physically plump good fur healthy but still taking up residence and marking our our homestead as a pile up place.

Even a wood pecker we will go to the door to see who is pecking on it only to find this one repeating offender little black and white spotted red headed wood pecker.

It goes from our door to beside every window in the house then right back to the front door and porch it goes.
