I don't mind religions, as long as they draw a line and stop trying to force themselves on others. Your belief in something is no different from someone elses belief in something else. You should be free to have it.

I don't believe. This should be alright too. If there is a god and I offend him/her/it then He/she/it could wipe me out at any second... He/She/It dosent need your assistance. Now I know how this works too, I will die someday and people will say oh look, god struck him down for his lack of belief. I feel I am educated to some extent. I don't believe I am stupid, or jumping to anything. I don't think anyone else is stupid based on religious beliefs. It isnt for me to judge them. It isnt for them to judge me either.

Live and let live. Someday, we will all die and know firsthand what happens. Till then just live and enjoy life. Weither you are religious or not that should still be the goal. Enjoy what you have in life.

These Athiests have zero understanding that they've become the ancient Greeks, worshipping the mighty men of the day as if they were gods. Tragically, they cannot understand that these mighty men are nothing but fools themselves having rejected the Creator.

The blind will follow the blind, never having understood that their "leaders and teachers" sway them to shout "Crucify Him, Crucify Him" because they themselves want the praise of worship of men.

Jesus, his birth, his death, his reported resurrection, as well as his 12 disciples were real people, who really died martyrs deaths. These people and events are real and they're recorded in history.

I think its probably assuming too much, to say Jesus was born into poverty and despair, Joseph was a carpenter, and there is no indication to say he couldn't provide for his family.
Nativity scenes always depict the stable, not elegance.

If God created everything and gave humans free will... he would have no purpose.

So God either died creating everything for everything, or everything is being controlled by him and he is taking care of what he created under his control.


People cannot have it both ways here. Do not take the free will and then believe you have somoene watching over things and dictating your fate based upon "up above."

Their is no logic in that.

Jesus himself used fear tactics. Wisdom comes in knowing who needs which tactic. You see, some people actually respond to this approach and are affected by it while none of the other methods stirred them.

Most people probably don't respond to a fear-based approach and are even repelled by it.

That's why it's important for the christian whose witnessing to first of all be a true 'christian' and secondly to be listening to the Holy Spirit's guidance, in which method to use on each person.

I think people are offended, and rightly so, when they see 'christians' controlled by the flesh, ignoring the Holy Spirit, bashing people over the head with the fear of hell.

I apologize for all who've done that.

Here's an example from Matthew 10:28 of Christ saying godly fear of God putting someone's soul and body in hell is good if it leads to that person realizing God loves him, following him and depending on him for all his needs. Matt.10:30.

Actually, Jesus is teaching that a healthy fear of God and hell is the ONLY TRUE WAY TO BE FREE OF ALL FEAR IN LIFE AND DEATH...read vs.31.

"And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

I think this is great news!! Why shouldn't atheist and agnostics have a say in a commercial holiday that has pagan symbols, occurs on winter soltice, and has the highest suicide rate of any holiday.

The Greek word is “ptocheuo.” To be poor. The God of all creation humbled (ptocheuo) and became as a servant for all mankind.

Such garbage. The Vatican has not rewritten the Bible. There are many manuscripts of the New Testament (such as those preserved by the Egyptian Coptic Christians), in the original Greek, that have been insulated from the Vatican for millennia.

In fact, there are over 6,000 ancient Bible manuscripts available in the original language and over 40,000 ancient Bible manuscripts that were translated by early Christians for evangelical purposes in Europe/Asia/North Africa.

No other book on earth can claim this kind of historical accuracy.
