I think what this guy is saying, a poor immune system will allow parasites to enter the body as with most diseases, If your friend drank bottled water, the company's who make this use prophylene alcohol in the steralizing process, if this comes in contact with a fluke worm, cancer forms up. Also dental, A friend of mine had the worst teeth I ever saw, he got cancer, had the teeth removed, He's now cancer free.

You guys must be mental... Understand that doctors have 'medical' training but are no magic healers, once you realise that they can only offer an educated guess then you'll be fine.

For every doctor/specialist/consultant I see I question any diagnosis or medication they might suggest, I ask why they think it would benefit me and how they came to this conclusion. Never accept anything at face value and always do a little research on the subject yourself, obviously don't get all OCD on the matter and morph into a hypochondriac.

Work with them not against them.

This reminds me of my mother, she went to a doctor for a simple polups scraping,The doc fcked up,she went into coma and died. this proceedure was for infected polups, if she had a zapper or frequency generator this would never had happened. We sued and won. The same doctor died of cancer 20 years later.

Sorry to hear you lost your mother to a "routine" surgery as well. :( It is beyond devastating. We had pursued the legal route but were turned down because we never had an autopsy done. The forensic surgeons the law firms consulted with said our case was too "gray," and not black and white enough to pursue a lawsuit. Because the bastard surgeon shipped her out to a big city hospital as she was actively dying, it would be have been a 5-day wait for her to have an autopsy, 3 hours away from home, so we declined it. That doctor knew what he was doing. Letting her die somewhere else. We probably would at least have SOMETHING to show for our loss if we had just done the autopsy, but what's done is done.

I'm not glad you lost your mom of course, but I am glad that you at least got something out of the doctor for cutting a hole in your family.

And to the person whose mother is still paying off a half million dollars for killing their dad, that just royally pisses me off. I remember my mom's medical bill was something like $900K. It's disgusting that they make that kind of money for killing people.

Cat scan with iodine contrast,

My hand was tapped to inject the iodine, it failed and my hand was swollen with iodine and it burned like MotherF**ker.

One technician came in while the machine was on/spinning and squeezed the iodine swollen hand to push the iodine into my system. It was very painful and I had my share of pain.

The scan failed, not enough contrast in the images.

Re: Experiences with the medical industry that make you go AAAAAHHHHrrgg
My mum was on a couple of different meds for diabetes, heart, osteoporosis, and began feeling unwell, with additional pains and general feeling of tiredness/no energy.

GP said couln't find anything wrong but prescribed her more meds for how she was feeling.

She continued feeling worse so one day I asked to see all her tablets and I researched what she was taking.

Turns out the GP didn't check what she was already taking and one of her tablets was contradicting the effects of what the others should have been doing and she was becoming more ill by the day.

However, we made an appointment to see her GP and when I pointed out what I thought the problem was he was not very pleased and asked me to leave his office.

My mum reviewed all her medications and cut out the not so necessary ones and is now feeling much better.

I do believe GP's here are overworked, but rather than throwing new meds at symptoms maybe take 10 minutes and review already prescribed medications and avoid cases like this!!!!

Sad to say the way our beaches are eroding it wont be there long. The sad part is so will all the other houses.

My daughter had residual tumor tissue blocking her portal vein which caused episodes of internal bleeding. We were referred to a transplant surgeon who wanted to give her a multi-visceral transplant. Basically, she would undergo several surgeries to replace most of her vital organs and be on $4000 worth of prescriptions every month, for the rest of her life. Thank God! we didn't just take that dr.'s advice and went for a second opinion out of state. We found out all she needed was a portal vein replacement to bypass the blockage.

Re: Experiences with the medical industry that make you go AAAAAHHHHrrgg
I don't really have time to get into the entire story, but here's a quick run at it:

My wife was injured in a serious car wreck before we met. She was comatose for some time and then had to learn how to walk and talk again.

We met, dated a long, long time and then got married.

One day about 3 years into the marriage my wife wakes up with the worst headache she has ever experienced.

Took her to a Doctor, who said it was "stress" and put her on Prozac. The headache remained.

We went to 10 different Doctors and specialists to try to get this headache to go away and finally after tons of tests, MRI's and the like they announced she has severe damage to parts of her brain and spine from the wreck and that's where the pain came from.

Then they showed us out without the door any sort of prescription or suggestion about what to do about this pain.

I finally ran into an old friend who told me about this pain specialist, I took her to see him and he began treating her right away with all sorts of therapy that included pain medications, anti-this-and-that pills and the likes.

The pain was finally tolerable.

Then one day, after 16 years of taking these meds for her pain, the Medical Revue Board came along and took the Doctor's license away without notice because he prescribed pain killers to his patients.

My wife (and all of his other patients) was left to hang like a wet sheet in the wind and NOT ONE DOCTOR would help her. One does not just stop taking pain meds like the ones she took overnight after 16 YEARS of taking them. I called the board and their response was "we don't support giving any patient any kind of pain medication" and that was that.

My wife almost died. If had not been for the wonderful people at a local hospital, she would have!

I have hired an Attorney and I am in the process of filing a lawsuit against the Board and a handful of Doctors and one smart-ass in particular at the local Med School Hospital.

Wish me luck, I'm going to need it.

It may be different where you live but here you can't sue the med school hospital.

That's some law they have going! A hospital employee was exposed to some aresol chemical which damaged her lungs and she was just out of luck!

I think you have to sign something upon admission stating that you agree to the condition of it being an educational facility and tax funded and will not seek monetary recovery from it. You can sue the individual physician I believe.

My daughter was given benadryl, now suffers bladder infections.
My son was prescribed claritin, now shows signs of glaucoma.

Neither one of them took much, nor daily doses, and never enough to warrant such effects.

my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer.

those fuckers told me (a 16 year old kid at the time) to drive her to the hospital to get "treatments"

on the way there we chatted like always talked about playing some cards next week as we often did. (mostly kings in the corner or hearts). She seemed fine and could probably live for years with natural treatments of whole food and excercise.

Went in the room deep in hospital, signed in, talked, she was nervous. they called her name she walked back and they shut the door

hour or so later they wheeled her out in a wheel chair??????

WTF this is TREATMENT?

She was gone. Her mind her body shot from that day on died 3 months later a drooling brainless zombie.

NICE FUCKING CURE.

I curse them all forever for what they did. And I fear I am cursed to, for I saw and did nothing.

You can do something with this. Don't let her death be for nothing. Get yourself educated so you can become a health advocate for others. You only need to learn enough to know what questions to ask the health professionals. Then stand your ground with them while advocating for yourself or others. Do not let them use their education and/or arrogance to intimidate or silence you. Instead challenge them to draw on it to convince you they know what they are doing.

Why is it that we will demand the mechanic explain his quote when we take our car in for repair but won't ask for the same for our own bodied?

I am sure your Grandmother is out there applauding any actions you take to make sure what happened to her doesn't happen to others. No doubt she is smiling on you right now for coming forth with this info.

The best way to make amends for any perceived wrong is to take action to insure it doesn't happen again. This is where forgiveness is granted, sometimes to ourselves, sometimes to others.

^^^This^^^

Yes, it's just an educated guess.

And they are going to treat you also mostly based on statistics--what the odds are that you have this or that based on your symptoms. To make a 100% positive diagnosis would cost thousands of dollars in tests and is considered unethical because of the cost.

The state license here even calls it the "art" of practicing medicine.

Always learn as much as you can about any diagnosis and medication you are prescribed.

It's YOUR life and no one is ever going to be as concerned about that as you yourself are.

For many years my grandmother was a diabetic and one day the Dr told her she did not need to take her medicine for it anymore. Fast forward about ten years, my grandmother was having a lot of leg pain and foot pain. My mother took her to her Doctor for it a few times and each time the doctor did not even look at her feet and just told my mom my grandmother needed a man in her life. Well my grandmother just kept going down hill and the weekend after Easter the year before last I had to go to her house to help my mother cook and take care of granny. Grandma could not walk three steps so we called a ambulance. I rode up with her to the Er and when we got back to the room the nurse looked at her feet and we were shocked. My grandmother had open sores on her feet that went all the way to the bone and we found out that she was still a diabetic. They tried everything the could to heal the wounds on her feet but nothing helped. I got a call about a week latter from my mother that the infection in her foot went all the way to the bone and that the Doctor would have to take grandmas leg to where her thigh is to even attempt to save her life. We talked it over with my dear grandmother and she said she did not want no one to take her leg so they sent her to hospice house. During this time my grandmother was on the biggest dose of morphine they could give her and if you went to even barely hug her she would cry in pain. She went to hospice house and a few days latter she went in a coma and passed a way that day. If her primary Dr would of kept checking her to see if she was diabetic again or would of listened to her or my mother about her leg and foot pain this probably would not of happen and she would still be with us :'(

This is soooo sad, and I am so sorry for what happened! I do think as in my mothers case, we need to educate ourselves and learn to ask the right questions. I have no doubt only I questioned and researched my mothers medications that she would be a lot worse today if not dead! We have to learn to stand our ground, be strong and question the so called "professionals" opinions!!

This is a horror story and I know your family did all they could.

One thing I have found that helps get their attention to the most important issue is to stick it in their face and force them to deal with it. Take off your own shoes and stick your foot literally in their face and make them see it.

Also if I have a little pain and they touch it, I scream like I am in agony! Seriously. Otherwise they don't seem to get it or pay attention.

And they can't seem to deal with more than one thing at a time. In other words, it's better to have them address one or two things only at a time and make another appointment (yes, more money) for the rest.

Getting sick is truly a misfortune. I suspect it has always been this way but we live in the information age and know better now. Doesn't make things one bit better but at least we know they should be.

And I'm afraid it is about to get ever so much worse in the near future.

How about this one...My father was getting way past being able to drive himself....I spoke to the Dr Up in New Milford Ct about it and he said naw he's just fine to drive.

About a month later ....after his visit to this DR....he backed his van up threw their waiting room....nobody hurt thank God, but needless to say dad never drove again....however I went to see the damage and as luck would have it ran into his Dr.....I just laughed in his face and walked away

About a month later ....after his visit to this DR....he backed his van up threw their waiting room....nobody hurt thank God, but needless to say dad never drove again....however I went to see the damage and as luck would have it ran into his Dr.....I just laughed in his face and walked away

Wow, that was some incident. Sorry your Dad is no longer able to drive but obviously you were concerned about his health and safety and those of others.

Loved your reaction, may have been immature as stated above, buy yeah, I bet it felt good!!

Thanks for your condolences, I just have say this, as to show the money these guys are making, where I live, in St Augustine, fl. A cancer doctor has built himself a house on the beach which is larger than most hotels around here, and just burns me up everytime I see it. Who needs a house like this. Sad to say the way our beaches are eroding it wont be there long. The sad part is so will all the other houses.
I could tell you more stories about people Ive known who died from cancer, muscular sclurosis (unnecessarirly)surosis of the liver, (excuse spelling) all because they weren't educated. The fluke worm is making these guys rich. KILL IT! BEFORE IT KILLS YOU!

There is a God and he will judge these men and it won't be pretty:

24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

Isaiah 66
King James Version

41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Matthew 25
King James Version

Re: Experiences with the medical industry that make you go AAAAAHHHHrrgg
This is for The Light Under The Door:
Cancer is a chronic disease, not the tumor. The tumor is just a symptom of the disease called cancer. If we remove the tumors only, the disease is still there and sooner or later it will create new tumors. That's why we have cancer survivors, not cured. The allopathic medicine knows that, that's why they use that term (legal consequences).

The focus of any successful treatment should be the cancer disease, in parallel with the tumors... it's a long story. I am a homeopath, practicing for 15 years and if you are interested to hear more about this you can contact me in January 2013 at this email [email protected]

I agree with this tbh, I have had some shitty ones and some that really worked hard with me. Its a bit of a partnership though and they are not miracle workers that are always right.

quit giving people false hope you piece of shit....cancer is NOT caused by a god damned vitamin deficiency...fucking 'tard

Cancer's got nothing whatsoever to do with parasitic fluke worms or bad dentistry you gullible idiot.

what is the cause of cancer?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27851254

There are many causes as cancer is many diseases.
Quite often it's a combination of factors.
