And that "if you can think it, it exists" which is very Openly Liberal, where Liberals believe that all cultures, religions and traditions lead to an "enlightment" Where as in Star Wars, they all maintain that the force is what controls and binds all life forms, which means all life forms are bound, not living in a place where it is their mind that controls the universe, but the force controls it, rather than millions of cultures, traditions and religions being considered "right" only the way of the force is known to be the truth. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28648467 Tough call. But it would be Kirk and Spock IMO. I'd want to see Darth Vader fight some motherfuckin Daleks though, and some raptors. The way Windu went down was a disgrace. His prowess came under scrutiny after that. I think he was riding on someone else's coat tails, and wasn't much of a fighter. Intergalactic Affirmative Action really. And OP said liberals prefer Star Trek. Last Edited by ISO on 11/29/2012 10:36 AM |

The state constantly that they are for mixing and diversity, but identify each group separately stating that each group maintain its own traditions. |

Maybe if Obi-Wan, Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, a borg R2D2, a reprogrammed terminator t800, Predator, a tame xenomorph and the entire cast of firefly were on my crew i might change my mind. |
Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 12373605 United States 11/29/2012 10:37 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It seems to me that you have these reversed. Conservatives do not recognize "group" differences and prefer peace through strength. No liberal ever discovered a new land and the current progressives in charge have cancelled the space program to use that money as handout to the Vulnibles. Conservatives do not focus on hyphenation or pander to special interest groups. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28574512 Liberals should prefer Star Wars because their overall them is to to maintain their balance of power by keeping everyone separate, and then pitting each group against one another. The state constantly that they are for mixing and diversity, but identify each group separately stating that each group maintain its own traditions. Most liberals prefer the 'interfaith' movement rather than individual belief. Star Trek mixes cultures while in Star Wars cultures are kept on their planets to themselves, but are still part of a collective Union |

Quoting: ISO Mr Worf, please escort the OP to his quarters. explain why you would rather live in the Star Trek world than the Star wars one There is plenty of war in Star Trek. It's not all roses and honey. As far as money goes, everyone has everything they need for FREE, and in unlimited amounts. Food, clothing etc. The only thing left to do is explore and fight when required. Star Wars is a much less refined universe. It's just somewhat shallow. Star Trek's universe is very complete and fulfilling. Last Edited by ISO on 11/29/2012 10:39 AM |

Data is the best droid in the universe. He's so much better than C3P0 and R2TrashCan. Data even got shot in the chest multiple times, and still said "greetings" to the shooter. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 22699475 United Kingdom 11/29/2012 10:43 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Liberals prefer Star Trek because it shows an advanced time, where a group of ethnically diverse people explore the universe trying to spread their idea of 'peace' and 'coexistence' all the while preferring diplomatic relations as apposed to war. During Star Trek the Next Generation, Capt. Picard constantly makes references to their overall mission being the discovery of new species and establishing diplomatic ties with them, while Liberals parade down the streets saying they tolerate every culture while at the same time condemning Jews. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12373605 Besides the first few series where Klingons are just black folk. Besides Star Trek is just al round better, before even mentioning the new Star Wars films. |

However I do not agree that Star Wars has hippy BS, Star Wars is rough, they are in a constant battle for the force and the galaxy, the Jedi Order itself says they are not there to preserve peace, they are there to protect the republic, even if it means all out war as shown in Attack of the Clones. However in Star Trek, the Next Generation, every, almost every single dilemma is solved through diplomatic processes. |
