They were mistaken about the backfiring car being a gun shot, but were justified when the car sped off...had the fool just pulled over and talked to them, then none of this would have happened...in other words, the idiot running away admitted guilt to a crime he didn't commit and died because of it...and his homeless slut...

as much as most of you would like to think they will, it won't happen, and if it ever did (merc units, majority of american soldiers would abandon before killing unarmed american citizens). hell, some of you overreact to stories involving cops so bad, you'd think you've all been victims at a death camp or some shit. basically what most of you are asking for is direct sight by an officer during a crime, otherwise the criminal is free to go. if you don't have a suspect fleeing, its much harder to identify who your trying to catch, equating to more crime later on.

its bs that if you flee from the police you immediately admit to a crime. It can only make you suspicious and you might make a few traffic violations but thats it, you don't admit to a crime if you flee.

I fully realize what I am saying...if you run from the cops you are admitting guilt, because innocent people don't run.

im not justifying how the police responded by any means, and i agree that they should have peacefully been subdued and given a trial, but they made the worst choice they possibly could have given the situation and got some unfortunate outcome. i forgot to finish my sentence about if mercs came for our guns, what i meant to add at the end is "over half of the people on here are keyboard warriors and would hand over their weapons willingly. another large % wouldn't have their weapons at the ready when the event finally took place, and would be forced to surrender immediately) why would american soldiers enslave their own? there is absolutely no benefit. it doesn't stop "terrorism", it doesn't ensure additional resources and prosperity, it puts their own families and friends at risk also, and it puts them at great risk attempting to take weapons from people they absolutely KNOW have done nothing wrong and are just civilians.
