Anonymous Coward User ID: 28219364 Mexico 12/06/2012 10:49 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Inhole this isnt the last of Apple as they regert back to the 80's and were struggling real bad for a break... If you decided to change the marketplace you shoukd have delivered on new technology, EVEN IF IT MEANT RELEASING A PRODUCT EVERY 2 YEARS... Mobile phone tech is notorious for technological innovations but people dont want a new phone every year, they would rather hang on to their existing product until the latest innovation, and to think, I am just a loser whi knows this, not a high paid techhie genius of the fruity variety.. And mark my words, if you don't bend to the market, you lose the market altogether, and windows will be uour nemesis../ Right now windows id working with nokia, one of the world's best phones manufacturer hands down.....What you gonna do when all those millions of xbox players integrate with the MS phone as a gaming controller and the future marketplace to sell apps hmm? What about Sony who now are hitting the market with a big, swinging bat of technological beeakthroughs that are attracting people and is almost 300+ dolla cheaper? And bringing out a minime version of a 'no phone service'wtf??! ipad is not exactly the future now, is it? The truth hurts but is the only way to get customers to come back...also, as a comoany with more money than the HS government, what technological innivations have come through the R & D pipeline? Because the mobile phone is the next PC.... Where is the next innovation Mr. Apple? In the R&D of other guants like SONY, NOKIA, MICROSOFT AND (SAM...... I just puked a little in me mouth and can't write it)..... |

There is a group of people out there that won't buy iPhone etc unless there is a working jailbreak available. The longer it takes for a jailbreak to surface the more people that will be dumping Apple and moving on to the competitions devices. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 2374356 And no it's not about piracy, it's about being able to customize your device and use all the cool tweaks out there. Hate to show my ignorance, but what does "jailbreak" mean? Who is John Galt? |

Quoting: Huntur Ipad Mini that not many ppl want or care about. Steve is gone. Just guessin... Add to this that the iPhone 5 has last years technology -- e.g. 4G data capabilities. And the ranks of Apple Sheeple are getting less and less as people can't or no longer want to pay nose bleed prices for computing technology -- just because of the name... There will ALWAYS be a market for early adopters who live on the bleeding edge of technology....and WILL pay for it. Always has been...always will be. True there is a market for early adopters living on the bleeding edge of tech, however, Apple's tech is no longer bleading edge. Case in point -- a iPad Mini could have been released with a retina display -- but Apple chose not to do so. Had the aforementioned happened -- the iPad Mini would best every tablet in that size catagory. Another case in point -- Siri -- yes when it first came out it was arguably the best voice rec system out there -- but fast foward to today -- Google's voice rec system beats Siri hands down. I could go on and on -- but people are getting wise to paying a lot of bucks for name recognition that's no longer backed up with innovation. |

Hate to show my ignorance, but what does "jailbreak" mean? Jailbreaking an iOS device is basically a method of unlocking the operating system to allow modifications. When you purchase an iOS device like a iPhone, the operating system is locked in a way that things like apps unapproved by Apple cannot be installed. Jailbreaking removes those restrictions and gives the user more control over their device. BTW, in the Android world this is known as Rooting. |
