we know mini ice age is coming. patterns in history tells us so
but forcasters jump on this band wagon to prove they are correct in forcasting which more often than not get it wrong

i read netweather, many many links in there showing the forecasts and how the models work.not sure what their homepage is as i got there via another link.

I made a thread in which some contactees were told that this, ice,snow,water/flooding, is coming as well as a magnetic reversal. This was back in 2008 and recently as about 6 months ago.

It's all gonna be blamed on man made global warming and this is exactly why Sandy was staged. America now has the gravitas to push through this fraud.

Tis bloody freezing over here in France today. Thanks for the post OP, am currently advising folk on a few other websites hereabouts to stock up on heating and food supplies. I fear this is going to be a cold one too.

Indeed, worst winter in over a hundred years, I have livestock so have to be on the ball and my 4 pallets of rock salt arrived yesterday, I am expecting -15 -20 at times.

I know this tip is a terrible waste of water, but it is essential for us to maintain a supply of water, so I have a short hose on the tap at the end of the line and run the water in the field, but at the extreme temp's that we are expecting then I would have to run it full bore in order to stop the line freezing.

Hope you're not on a meter...

Better hope the powers that be in the UK dont piss off Russia. Russia will cut off your natural gas supply. Russia has done this in the past for non-payment from the EU.

I understand weather & have studied it since i was 8 years old i'm now 28 & if the pressure charts are correct for next week the whole eastern side of the uk will be under thick snow. Depths of 20cm locally at low levels & 60cm at higher levels are quite possible. The reason for this is, when the winds come from the near continent at this time of year they are as cold as -20 & as the winds travel over the north sea they pick up lots of moisture then dump all of its moisture on land, in this case the east coast. There's probably going to be a low pressure system sitting out into the north sea by next wednesday & if it does, expect a severe snow storm to develop with catastrophic results. you have been warned!!!!!!!!! stay safe & please keep watching the weather forecast over the coming weekend.

Worried about our two horses if we get a combination of cold AND high winds.

Snow is not so much of an issue; we have a V8 Jeep, tried and tested in the German Alps.

2 feet of snow is just a minor inconvenience..

If you look at the wind flow for the next week on this link you'll find a nice high pressure over the UK with very little eastern airflow. THUS NO MAJOR CHILL AND THE TYPICAL MEDIA BLOWING SOMETHING OUT OF ALL PROPORTION.
