People have to realize that we have a system called the Fed that is owned by private international banks that prints our money at interest. So international banks can print money for next to nothing and lend it to the American government at interest!? Does anybody see anything wrong with this equation? lol

Don't forget about the $121+ trillion in unfunded liabilities. Don't worry, though. Government says that if we just eliminate the debt ceiling, that all of our problems will be solved and that we don't have to worry about the underlying debt.

Also, currency itself has no value. What gives currency value are the goods and services that can be purchased with it (for this to work, it requires confidence in the currency as a medium of exchange). If people simply rejected the federal reserve note, then claims made on goods and services, using federal reserve notes, would not be honored and the federal reserve note rendered worthless. Now you know why governments don't like competing currencies, as competing currencies are the Achille's heel of their power.
