War through Games, Crappy Movies and Idiotic Media then running about like headless chickens screaming the sky is falling help... Create what you want im creating a delicious beach with palm trees good organic food and peace and fucking quiet from everyone too dumb to realise their heads are so far up their arses they cant even hear let alone think apart from the media pushing Borg mind anymore...Wake Up.

This is getting creepy!

I'm gonna watch for it tonight.

People on twitter are saying as big as the moon.
Brightest thing in the sky.

See post above for the twitter comments. I just pulled out a couple of the comments. They were kind of freaking out on twitter.

Saw it here in Georgia too, couldn't hear it burning but it freaked me out. Loud rumbles all night too. It was fairly slow moving compared to "falling stars" and large. Didn't hear an impact of any kind but it was shocking to see.. Nothing else since then
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23237471

Georgia here ... I kepts hearing rumbles too. i thought it was helicoptors and jets because i live near an air force base.

Why pin? Meteors plunge through our atmosphere all the time. These "fireballs" are NOTHING new or significant.

About a month ago I saw something similar to what people are describing with these fireballs, although i think mine was smaller. It seemed like a meteor besides the fact that it was green with sort of red sparkles on the interior-- very weird. Not like any meteors I've seen. My boyfriend is somewhat of a skeptic and he didnt have any explanion for it either.I am located on the south side of Indianapolis, btw

interesting...wtf are they??

All eye-witnesses on that site the OP provided a link to say it's the biggest and brightest meteor they've ever seen. Coincidence that this is happening just before the Mayan end date?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29130443

How many meteors have you seen? I watch for them, and, excluding meteor showers, I've probably seen less than 15 isolated meteors in my whole life, 2 of which I would call spectacular. Most people are paying attention to the sky for the first time ever in the last few months.

Problem being, for most people, seeing ANY meteor would be the biggest and brightest meteor they've ever seen.

I also have noticed nothing unusual in the fore mentioned region. This proves that communication has succeeded in keeping all regions of the globe in touch with each other. Things enter our atmosphere and burn up all of the time. Years ago if you did not personally witness the event you never heard about it but with the spread of communications and youtube everyone sees.

Saw a little orb/fire ball looking thing outside my window either this week or last. Thought it was a weird moving plane in the sky at first but then it came down and started moving through the tops of the trees across the street, looked way to small to be a plane then. And it was yellowish in color, also looked a bit big to be a firebug, was probably several inches in diameter.

I just remembered one of those "prophetic" dreams I had maybe half a year ago. A meteor crashed down near a coast. the tsunami was HUGE. I remember "me" running to a building in vain for a hope of survival.... Well I drowned in a very violent way when I got hit.

One of the reasons why I take extra notice of any "fireballs" from the skies.

I saw in ramona ca about 9:20 or so it looked like a very bright camera flash it was almost like it was day to time for about 1 or 2 sec. Then it got super dark right after it happened eight shooting stars went through the sky minutes appart.
