Why are atheists so repulsive?

Why do we hate religions so much?
I see them as an organized pedophile ring.
Brain washing to control people. Thats why they start with the very young.

This thread isn't exactly helping to convert people you know.... Jesus said to show love towards those who hate you. Show forgiveness if you expect to be forgiven.

I've personally never met an atheist whose goal in life was to convert others to atheism. Atheists don't try and use your emotions/fears as a tool to sway you into adopting their perspective. I've never experienced atheists shoving their agenda down my throat and telling me bad things will happen to me if I don't believe exactly as they do.

And no, I'm not an atheist. Just calling it as I see it.

I've never met an atheist - that tried to 'convert' me to atheism... neither.

Some of these atheists are so screwed up that they believe its ethically desirable to kill believers because their twisted logic says religion and believers in God are hindering society. And so the reign of the Antichrist will begin. It's already begun, slowly, unwittingly, these atheists are infiltrating politics, media, philosophy and justice. We must resist and pray every day for us and them. We must love them.

I admit I have never heard an atheist say they want believers killed for hindering society.

I do think we are going to have a big problem between the Christians and the Muslims.

I think that it is time that people stopped trying to preach to people who have had every chance to read the bible and know about God. Nothing wrong with people having faith in God and Jesus, nothing wrong in people not believing it either.

There are plenty of believers that can get together and study the bible, they don't need to antagonise others who don't want to, and get in their face about it.

Religion AND all the 'isms' are just divisional tactics. At least, they are when people take them seriously.

I don't think the human mind is advanced enough to even comprehend that which created us. In fact, it's almost disrespectful to whatever DID create us by trying to define and label it.

why? it's real simple... when you were a happy little kid, some evil adults took you aside and told you a story about some invisible man who is watching your every move and if you don't be perfect like him, a horned monster will make you burn for eternity in a place called hell. suddenly your little mind becomes afraid, then life is no longer a fun or happy place to be.

this story is told to you over and over so you never forget: 'your every move is being watched by this man. if you don't be pure and perfect like him, the horned monster will burn you in hell forever'. as this mantra is repeated over and over, a thing called fear starts to fill your solar plexus and you start to question your every move and feel guilty for not being perfect.

this fear develops into chronic anxiety and life becomes a terrifying experience. but you are helpless by then because a) a chronic guilt complex has formed in your psyche b) you dare not protest, as this is called blasphemy and you will damned forever.

religious indoctrination is sickening child abuse and absolute psychological terrorism.

the underlying message is: 'suffer little children, suffer!'.

Hateful? Hardly. Here, let me sum up atheism for you. Can you prove that god exists? No? Then I'm an atheist. It is simple as that. No hate, just logic.

Atheist are right and they know it. If you do not believe in Jesus Christ and get a ticket to Heaven, you are going to die with your flesh. Atheists do not believe in Jesus Christ, they do not want to be saved, so for them, there is nothing after this mortal life.

Atheists must be punished. They must be stamped out to keep the world pure for God's children only. It is a disease that will eat away at our morality. We must stop them from teaching it to our children.

And it's judgemental generalisations like the OP has that makes religious people even more vile. The majority of athiests don't care what you do with your beliefs but anyone in religious circles passes down judgement automatically. Now, bearing this in mind, who is more vile? The people that just live their lives and happily accept what others do, or the people that judges everyone else for not holding the same belief system as them?

Stop with the judgements. You are not god, jesus, Allah etc etc. If there is a god out there that all your beliefs point to then let him do the judging and stop with your own hatred as he'll surely see that in you too.
