The Sabbath is saturday OP.....actually friday sundown to saturday sundown.

I used to be a Sunday Sabbath follower then I thought after study of scripture Saturday or sundown Friday to Sundown Saturday is the correct Sabbath?

But Jesus proves he is Lord of the Sabbath when his Apostles were eating wheat on a Sabbath and he healed a paralyzed man on a Sabbath.

I think I will stick with Friday sundown to Saturday sundown
because the LARGE organized practice on Sunday......Crummy reasoning but hey one or the other is correct.

But I think we are splitting hairs....setting aside a day to rest because of what God did is in honor and is worship of God. That makes God happy......

The Sabbath was for the Jews, Christians are not under the law. More Hebrew roots nonsense.

Saturday is the only Sabbath mentioned in the Bible... Sunday is a tradition of men from the book of Acts... "They were gathered together on the first day of the week..." It is never called the Sabbath.

Stop making things up. Ironic isn't it that Friday night & Saturday are the busiest and most ungodly times of the week - when it was set aside to honor God and rest.

What part of the law do you feel free to disobey? You are under an even greater law - the law of love... It allows less, since, having the Spirit of God - if you are a saved believer - you are responsible for understanding snd obeying, because you have that witness within you.

Most of the New Testament deals with correcting this or another similar heresy. Don't mistake liberty for freedom, or either one for rebellion - the original sin.

Ummmm no it's not !! The Bible says the 7th day is the Sabbath, look at your calendar, Sunday is the FIRST day of the week not the 7th!

Anybody can print out a calendar with Sunday or Monday as the first day, BUT,

Yup, SUNday is definitely intended to be the start of the week, we are to rest on the true 7th day(If you are actually a follower of the Bible)

It is pretty clear the changing of the day was done to further disassociate those individuals from the right path.

I have provided the Biblical evidence, and that is why most businesses and offices close Friday or Saturday midday. Sunday most businesses and offices are closed.
Schools also finish on Friday, and they also open on the first day of the week MONDAY.

Monday is the day most people go to work to start the week.
Monday being the first day of the week. Sunday being the 7th day sabbath.
