When you sincerely call upon the name of Jesus, He will answer you. I can attest to that. Regardless of who you are or what you have done. Just like the lost son who had wasted away his life, the Father will welcome you in with open arms and take care of you. His love will break any chain that binds you down. There's nothing you have to do to deserve His offer. His love is an unconditional gift. You can come as you are, with all of your shortcomings, in all you weakness, anger, filth or emptiness. No matter what you have done to yourself or another or what has been done to you, He will accept you as you are.

Just like the blood of a lamb smeared on the doorposts made the Angel of Death pass those houses by, so will Jesus' blood shield you against anything the Accuser will throw at you. All of us are slaves to sin and as such deserve to die. And we surely will, unless we accept what's being offered to us: the gift of life. The price for our deeds has been paid for in full. Accept this and you will walk away free. Remember that you don't have a soul. You are a soul. You have a body. That will die, but you don't have to. Just ask Him:

"Heavenly Father, have mercy on me, a sinner. I believe in you and that your word is true. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God and that he died on the cross so that I may now have forgiveness for my sins and eternal life. I know that without you in my heart my life is meaningless.

I believe in my heart that you, Lord God, raised Him from the dead. Please Jesus forgive me, for every sin I have ever committed or done in my heart, please Lord Jesus forgive me and come into my heart as my personal Lord and Savior today. I need you to be my Father and my friend.

I give you my life and ask you to take full control from this moment on; I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ."
