O.K. I AM NOW A SUNTARD. | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 24314629 United States 12/16/2012 11:48 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I agree with that. I disagree with the suntards who think the sun is "Not where it is supposed to be." If it's not where it is supposed to be, why do the solar and lunar eclipses happen exactly when this 20+ year old book I have says they should. But the intensity is much stronger, I believe the color has shifted too. The sun used to be more yellow, now it is an intense white. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 26254870 United States 12/16/2012 12:13 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I agree, I know it's crazy, but I swear I've noticed the sun arrears whiter and brighter than I ever remember. But, since that drastic of a change on the sun would have already FRIED our planet, it's NOT the sun. A) It's OUR perception of it, or B) it's the ATMOSPHERE of the Earth that has changed. Hello? Can any one here deny that our air has changed in the last 50 years? You don't have to agree on what gas is causing in (although, I'd bet it could be figured out with a little research), but it's the only answer that makes any sense. But, again, THAT big a change in the atmosphere is a huge, scarey, TEOTWAWKI event for us too. Something is changing here on Earth ... and we, like the rest of the animals on mother Earth, are sensing it. |
Rabid Wolf User ID: 29806489 United States 12/16/2012 12:21 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's odd. When I was about 4 years old and coloring a picture, I remember asking my dad why I was supposed to use yellow to color the Sun, since it looked white to me. I don't remember his answer beyond it is a yellow star that looks white. (he was a bit long winded, and I was only 4) So, when I hear people saying that the sun now looks white, all I can say is that from my point of view, it always has looked white to me. (since 1978) |

wisc_natureboy User ID: 28859998 United States 12/16/2012 12:33 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I remember the yellow sun, orange-ish even. I also remember big fluffy clouds, sun showers and contrails that always disappeared after a couple of minutes. I too, am outside a lot. I have darker skin and never wear sunscreen and until recently never burned. Two or three years ago, the same week all those kids from Louisiana got sunburn after just 20 minutes in the Sun in Springtime no-less, I got microblisters all over my arms while canoeing. Thousands of tiny water-filled blisters. That same week, I read of a few other folks getting them as well. The Sun is very different these days. Whether due to Galactic forces or whatever, it has changed, and may not be done changing. We all breathe the same air. .-.. --- ...- . / .- .-.. .-.. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24314629 The Sun being off a few degrees does not mean there still would not be an eclipse. It just means the eclipse would take place at the new location. Orbits do not change just the tilt of the earth. The earth is tilting and changeing the location of the sun. There just not admitting to it yet because that signals a pole shift. Get it. Every Earthquake adjusts the earths wobble and tilt. Look it up. We are tilting differently. Things have changed alot. Open your eyes and get an education. Your all just making this up as you go along. Yes the Sun's radience has changed. |
