Sir it is simple, Americans won their freedom with guns. As a government model, one of the underlying precepts is that the nature of government is to grow out of control to the point it will require a "reset" of some type or the people will be enslaved. Without an armed populace this model fails to be tenable. Any restriction on the populace that reduces it's leverage against the government is seen as an attempt to allow the juggernaut to grow unchecked. Americans have sacrificed millions of their own for this.

Actually I was just pointing out that Mister High IQ thought (and bragged) that he was intelligent regarding subjects such as government and human nature based on a test score he had received (a test that BTW does not test for intelligence regarding government, psychology, or guns), when he clearly cannot use basic grammar or logic, meaning that he probably isn't very bright at all.

And also for the "ummm" guy the guns they use are still illegal and nobody can just walk into a store and buy one so what exactly is your point? I never said criminals don't have guns, criminals can ALWAYS get guns but the don't use them on innocent school children!

When did I suggest disarming people, or are you just trying to put words into my mouth so you can avoid inconvenient facts. I've got plenty of guns. I don't feel like giving them up. Of course, I only use them for hunting and such, but still. Personally, I'm not sure what a person should do about trying to control these types of things. Make it harder to get guns? Nah, the guy was using his mom's guns. Better psychiatric care in America? Sounds kinda invasive into my personal life. No more assault rifles or high capacity magazines? Well, doesn't affect me, but I doubt it would have had any impact on this.

Only thing I was suggesting was that you can't stop kids from getting hurt when a well-armed and well-prepared psychopath enters a school with an intent to kill just by arming so school administrator.

The only thing I would support is more funding towards education and wellness. Make people more than just a student ID when they go through the schools. Identify problems, and help people work through them when they are in school. Give people personal attention. Treat people like people. Be a good fucking neighbor. You know, that shit we had back in the day, when your kid could go trick or treating without you having to check his candy for razor blades and poison.
