I don't know if we talked about it but, did any of you get those time prompts all the time? Like 11:11 or 12:12 or 333 or 444? Are you still seeing them? Have they changed...since the 21st?

Guess the worldwide DMT trip was cancelled. Why do they always take away the fun stuff?

That insomnia bandit makes visits to my place now and then too, Isis, hope it buggers off, soon for ya! And pixie haircuts, I think a lot of us can relate. :-) It's funny, I noticed that a lot of women who had short haircuts as kids like to wear their hair long when they are older (myself, included), whereas those who had unbelievably long hair as children sometimes keep it short as adults, having memories of snarls in their hair being combed out as youngins' :-) Am I on to a plausible theory of some sort, maybe(?) :-)



Yep, still here! I like this thread, it's comfy, and cozy, and I feel like I can just curl up on a metaphorical couch with you all in front of a nice fireplace and chat. :-) Nice refuge from the sometimes howling winds, outside!

Don't know what the deal is with the worldwide DMT trip, I felt a little bumpy shift yesterday, nothing too serious, just people around being a little testy and in a bickering mood. Today, regrouped, and a bit better. :-)

I did have the double/triple/quadruple numbers happen, too. Not for the last day or so, but it must have happened for me five days straight around the 21st.

Hi folks, had a great snow day today (well late today, I slept til 3:00 pm after the insomnia, but had great time dreaming). Made cocoa with marshmellow, shoveled a big path for the doggie, sat outside and watched it snow for a bit, soooooo quiet and peaceful. Then rounded out the day with a taped mini-series, World Without End, by Ken Follet. excellent except for a bit a gratuitous violence in one or two spots. I love those 14th century England epics, must have spent a few lifetimes there, definitely was burned at the stake a few times. See you all later, I love the comment about coming here to chat and curling up on the couch!

I just made soup. It was originally meant to that diet cabbage soup, but over the years I have perfected it! I haven't made it in like forever and it sounded good on a day like today. It is overcast here in the Valley of the Sun. A lovely change of pace but I am not loving the chill.

I am going to head in and bake cookies here shortly. Another project I haven't done in years. I don't know what my problem is! Jah Jah Jah.
I want to do candy next weekend too.

I am growing my hairs as we type! Lol.

Hi Girls, fun catching up, that soup sounds delicious, I have never once made soup in my life, can you imagine? If I did I think I would want to make split pea with ham soup. Also, haven't made stew in a long time and now talking about soup has made me think of stew, maybe later today. It is finally time for me to use this smilie!!!




Just type new years in between two colons if you want to use it here or elsewhere.

SomeChick inspired me yesterday, I made a beef vegetable soup with some beef bones and leftover prime rib I had frozen from Christmas. I made the stock using the ribs, onions, carrots, celery, garlic, salt and cracked pepper, a little lovage (oh, I love that herb, smells and tastes like celery, kind of...but is perennial), thyme, bay leaf, and parsley. Drained the stock, added the leftover beef, added some brown rice, sundried tomato, corn, peas, green beans, chopped spinach, and diced potato. I love cooking in the winter!

I'm off soon to try out my new bow and arrows after I finish putting the bow components together.

Hi Lily, I'm good, thanks for asking. Eased back into the routine this week after the holidays. We got a bunch of snow which is nice. Fending off an allergy cough.....thought all the mold would be inactive by now, guess not, lol. Good excuse to rest and relax, not that I need one. How are you and yours?

Aww, sorry to hear about the cough, I know a lot of that has been going around, lately! Hope you feel better, soon, and enjoy your weekend. I'm doing well, thanks for asking! Craving sweets like crazy though, I think I overloaded on cookies during the holidays and now I am in withdrawal!

OMG... The beef soup sounds awesome!
For my turkey soup I use the leftover gravy, add water and more gravy packets & potatoes. Super simple! You can add what ever from there.

The tomato/onion/cabbage diet soup is awesome with polka beef & bacon! Lol

Salon is suppose to open soon. But I'm not excited. Been having a awhile useless eater thing going on lately. Trying to establish my place in the world. Freaking mid life freak out! Plus coming off an extremely toxic anti-d for a baseline.... So I am crying a lot....
And getting blessed enough to keep a gun out of my hands! Lol

Oh but I did mange to over strip the blue out of my hair and ended up at a salon for the cure! Lol
