The base name is just the SAC Air Force base in Omaha. Have no idea what the cross streets are around it since I haven't been there since I was a kid and a family member worked there (who has since passed away).

Ok, since no one is posting then you guys must think that it is ok and that nothing "weird" is going on. Just wanted to make sure. Lol, I do have a tendency to jump to conclusions some times.

Depending on where they are moving to, leaving in the middle of the night might just be the most practical time depending on the timing of heavy traffic areas smart travelers would be trying to avoid.
When we moved, we left at midnight and avoided all rush-hour traffic jams in major cities we had to pass through.
Most people like to avoid traffic.

The base name would be Offute Airforce Base. It's actually closer to Bellevue then Omaha. In the state of Nebraska.

Obviously wherever they are moving to is close enough that they are not worried about the storm. Maybe they just got on base housing and are moving in today. Since the storm is coming from the east they would not be moving that way unless they are moving on base.

This just adds to the strange stuff going on OP thanks for sharing. Maybe the new madrid is about to go? It sounds like this is serious if three folks have done it. Maybe you can leave the area for a bit too? I would guess the weather may have moved up their departure time possibly as well.

Can't leave the area and all my family is here to. Will keep monitoring the situation and post if anything really weird happens here.

Sounds like our neighbor. A couple years ago they also loaded their stuff into a moving truck at night and left. A web search on the county recorders site showed the IRS had like 5 different liens on their property and they had a second mortgage so it was upside down by twice over

Never thought of that but would the Air Force allow that to happen to their people and wouldn't the IRS notify the AF of this situation?

Let's assume they are bugging out?

They wouldn't need to pack up their entire household, and they wouldn't be able to take their extended family with them to their bugout place. If the world were ending, they would just take their necessities and not put the household in a moving van.

Maybe with Christmas coming up the van company has to keep a schedule... the family may stay in a hotel so the kids can complete school.. this happens in military families as the scheduling is done by the military coordinators.

Not to say the world won't end this Friday.. but there may be a good explanation for this move...glad you are keeping your eyes peeled for all of us, though.... :)


P.S. Not sure if an Air Force military member would have specific information if the New Madrid fault were going to give way.

My first ever of these.

Divorce is common among military families.

He found out she was cheating and she called her parents.
They came down to help her move out ASAP(middle of the night) because he is a meathead and they fear him.

They did't say anything to the neighbors for shame.

There is no for sale sign because they dont know who will get the house in the settlement.

Here's a list of things that have been very wrong.

I went on a trip to visit my mom. Things went great I mean the small drama aside and the fact that I decided to detour to a friend's house afterwards for a night which is actually in another state. That's about where shit started getting weird.

Cops tried to hit my car twice.

Then every cop in town would be on my route everywhere I went wherever I went. That's fine and kinda whatever. I call my bank and tell them I'm traveling and I'm taking out x amount of money and they ok it. Next day I am on my way home, actually almost home, about four hours away but still technically the area of my house pretty much (not in an area of suspicion anymore as per my bank) and go and get gas and have no problem. ten minutes later I stop for a frappuccino because I literally barely ate on this vacation for whatever reason and my card is declined even though I had plenty to pay for my stupid drink. I can't handle that amount of karma load so I insist on paying and try calling my bank even though it's after hours. First time the automated system hangs up on me which rarely happens. Then finally second time get through to a human and they agree I cleared it the day before but still transfer me to fraud and get things cleared. Then I finish my drive. I make it in one piece in spite of drivers constantly tailgating me with their brights on the way home which they refused to pass even when I let them unless I pulled over and slowed down to nearly a stop.

Then I get home and smoke my pot because damnit my nerves were fried to hell. Lo and behold these fuckin ninjas come out of nowhere with idk what and I live on the second floor, I'm on my patio with my cats chillin with my peace pipe minding my business being quiet and quietly chatting with my fiance. It's 1 AM. So these ninjas come out of nowhere on the ground and lay this shit on the ground right under my patio and it was in this yellow package and between my apt and the water there's maybe 20 feet of land. I mean ffs, it's not that much space and I had a candle lit, they knew a human was outside sitting out there and it was placed literally right middle of my patio area. I'm diving into my apartment telling my fiance omg they just put a fuckin bomb under the patio. By then I'm shaking like a leaf and I'm high as a kite this shit is not even funny anymore, wtf is wrong with people. This box they put down was the size of both of my forearms put together--it was just not a simple lil bottle rocket or firework for home use. Then I remember my cats were outside and I'm telling my fiance to get the cats inside get them inside.

You know I mentioned to my fiance when I got home there had been a car idling outside the apts when I got home from my trip. It is always there idling when I come and go. It's creepy as freaking hell and I don't understand how this can't feel like I'm being stalked.

The fact that I was high I couldn't just go calling the cops and being like people are blowing up the place. lol. but this shit scared the piss out of me. the cats got inside before whatever it was went off but it wasn't "fireworks" in the sense of like your typical 4th of july stuff you'd put off in your back yard--nothing like that at all. The only thing these things did was go BOOM and leave marks in the ground. Yeah, there was several, maybe 4+, I lost count but I was pretty damned worried considering I had no idea what they were setting off and there's not much land to speak of if anything catches fire this place would be a matchbox set ablaze.


So then yesterday some dudes in a black Chevy Trailblazer right after an appointment, before we got to the apartment on the drive home came out of nowhere going 80+ and we had been in the slow lane, they cut us off even though we had never seen their vehicle so it's like random roadrage without any reason, slammed on their brakes until they were going well under 50 mph on a 55mph stretch of road and there was less than 5 ft between our bumpers--we try to switch lanes and they go to switch. I call 911, and they speed off. I was passenger--I'd had a bad feeling, hence my fiance driving me to my appointment.

Least to say I'm scared shitless and pretty much ready to lay low and pack up my shit and go stay in the woods somewhere. this shit is scary.
