The reason Americans are fat and unhealthy is to take attention away from British peoples rotten teeth.

It really is simple - cooked and processed food is deficient in nutrients your body needs...When you eat this food, you feel full, but the body did not get nutrients to break it down and convert to energy...

So, in a couple of hours the body is demanding more food for energy... The meal that was eaten a couple of hours ago, is in storage, and is broken down slowly...

It is the continued storage of food that makes a person fat...

I think it has something to do with the cost of living in America.
We all work 40+ hours a week to barely afford an apartment and vehicle, so that leaves us with carb-heavy frozen foods and noodles, and terrible fast food.
I work a midnight shift so many of my meals come from a gas station... And I'm barely awake long enough to cook anything before I head to work.

There was recently a study linking HFCS to nations w/most diabetes & obesity. USA is a major producer of CORN.

Corn in general is fattening. HFCS is of the devil. I avoid all corn or any product with corn.

It's simple. People lead sedentary lives, but take in enough calories to support an Olympic athlete.

Although processed food may be less healthy, processed food is not the reason for obesity. People are fat because they eat too much for their sedentary lifestyles.
