I don't care if it is firearms, people, drugs, baboons, food, power tools, cars, hair products, ipads... It doesn't matter. Door to door anything in the U.S. = Shitstorm. There are over 300 million firearms in the U.S. in civilian hands. Do you realize how many are even "lost"? I mean firearms that are in homes that people don't even remember? Here in most states we have what is called "face to face transfers". I will use Florida here for an example. You can buy a firearm direct from any individual at any time without any dealing with the govt at all. You only have to deal with paperwork if you go to a licensed gun dealer. So I could sell you any one of my rifles or pistols, for cash, in a face to face transaction. All someone would have to say is "Nah, I needed cash real bad and sold them all to some guy I met at a bar one night when I was out drinking". There is no paper trail. Most people around here prefer to purchase direct from individuals and for cash. Most sales DON'T have records which is the norm so it wouldn't look odd at all. |
