But store displays are awfully, amazingly rickety and badly placed. The store can bite the bottles as the cost of cluttering up their aisles with stick and splinter wine racks. Anyway, the real blame goes to whoever was raising bubba while mama was at work. From the child's pov it don't matter if mama is at work or drunk in the drunk tank all those hours she is away while he is home alone or in some "program". Children need their own mothers. No. The blame is on the parents, hence asshole parenting. If they're leaving their kids to be cared for by people who are raising the child to behave this way, blame still reverts to them. It's not the babysitters fault but the parent who hired them and thought their discipline actions or lack of were acceptable. Store wine displays are usually NOT cluttered and rickety. They're usually in a out of the way corner or next to a beer cooler where parents shouldn't loiter with their kids anyhow. The store eating the cost in the long run, drives up the price of wine for the rest of us, and fuck that shit. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 30723779 United States 12/24/2012 03:46 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Sadly this doesn't surprise me one bit. I work with the public and its pitiful when I'm impressed at a child saying please and thank you. That should be expected because where I grew up it certainly was. Quoting: KungPowMeowMeow The other thing that erks me is when parents let the child interrupt adults and then act so proud that little Johnny "asserted" himself. I was taught that children are to be seen and not heard, don't speak unless spoken to. This is the reason I decided not to have children. It would make me insane to know that my child had to share classrooms with heathens who know absolutely no discipline. Umm...What's that called..h...hom...homos....homeschooling! yes! Nobody in classroom except family! Funny, all the homeschooled kids I've ever met had impeccable manners. It's the public school kids who are sullen, angry little shits. Yep,thats the way it is around here.Seems like the home schooled kids have great manners while the majority of public schooled kids are very rude. We were at the doctors office last week. While in the waiting room there was a kid looked to about 9 years was going out the door as a wheelchair person was coming in.His mom pushed on through and was out the door and he stayed behind and was holding the door for the person...mom in meantime was yelling to come on and let someone else get the door because she was in a hurry. The kid just dropped his head down and ran on after her and another person got up to hold the door. This is the problem with most kids...unconcerned parents in to big a hurry |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28749234 Nothing like that at my store, and its pretty middle to lower middle class, majority latino, 40%-30% caucasian though. Latina mamas love their babies. They raise them themselves. They don't scrounge for below minimum wage nannies. If the mama works she has her own mama or sister take care of the kid. Lower middle class folks live on one income or two half time jobs. They raise their own kids. They do crimes, but crimes that make sense. They do crimes of gain or crimes of passion. Rarely does a poor kid run through a store like a scared deer. They've usually got too much well developed neurology in the noggin for nonsense. Its what happens when a kid grows up cared for by his own mother. Where did you grow up? I live in a city with lots of lower middle class folk and they do have plenty of vandalism with graffiti where is that a crime of gain or passion? |
