Seek professional counseling above all else. If you broke your arm you wouldn't try to fix it yourself, same with your mind.

Re: depression
Start writing a journal. Write about how you feel,
what you're thinking, things that have happened
to make you feel this way, etc.. As surprising as it
may seem, sometimes, getting it out on paper helps
and/or gives you new perspective on things. Just my
2 cents. :-)

You're going to have to fix that claimed physical injury because you need to get that body moving. You need to get busy and get your mind on things other than yourself

if you hope to free yourself of depression

Otherwise, it's like asking how you can lose weight while continuing to eat more than you need

Re: depression
I am a lifelong Unipolar Major Depression sufferer.

Gluten free helped.

200-400 mg daily Sertraline helped.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy helped.

Juicing raw vegetables and fruits will help heal your body.

Starch free diet for arthritis. Helped 90 percent of inflammation.

Yoga, slowly, will help.

Talking to someone helps.

Worry about past and future will cripple you.

Think and live in the present.
