Hey they had a show on tv last week called rocket city rednecks about home made lasers. They would blow drones out of the sky no matter how high they fly.

I'm not sure because the radio frequencies have to be digital encrypted unless they are complete fools. It's going to take a team of bright minds to:

a) jam the signals
b) crack the signals
c) make our own drones to kamikaze into government drones
d) directly sabotage drone control center

Simplest way is to scramble the radio frequency, get or male a frequency scrambling device that can transmit multiple frequencies over a wide range.

Job done.

If I know the military, they've got those babies working at REALLY, REALLY high frequencies...think tens of gigahertz, minimum. They would also surely have built-in automatic guidance routines in the event the external signal is lost.

Now while Clem, the local redneck trucker's CB Radio shop owner could probably whip up some respectable power at much lower freqs, when you get up into the gigs - its a much tougher game.
