Re: Forgiveness
Thanks for sharing your story Lisa, I'm glad you were able to stop, take a look at the situation, and find a larger lesson--practice forgiveness. I'm so sorry to hear about your car, though! (((((HUGS))))

Re: Forgiveness
From the mouth of Christ.

Luke 17:1 "Then said He unto the disciples, "It come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!"
Luke 17:2 " It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of the little ones."

Luke 17:3 " Take heed to yourselves, IF THY BROTHER TRESPASS AGAINST THEE, REBUKE HIM; AND IF HE REPENT, FORGIVE HIM.

Luke 17:4 "And if he trespass against they seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to they saying" I repent; thou shall forgive him."

Many Christians believe they should be second class people and let people walk all over them.

Many family members abuse their family. Yes blood is thicker than water, but if you have a family member hurting others in that family, forgive them "IF" they repent and ask for your forgiveness.

Many people who try to become a Christian get taught wrong. Then when someone comes along and hurts them, "YES" forgive them, but turn your backs on that person until they "repent" and ask for your forgiveness.

I know even tho I taught just as Christ did in the scriptures above, I will be blasted by those that feel we should bow down to evil and let everyone and every thing treat and make us a second class human.

Forgiveness is what we must do to get into the Kingdom of God. WE can forgive those that come against us, and if we do not forgive, sorry, the Kingdom of God is not within you.

But again, that does not mean for us to let others walk all over us.

We are to love one and another as a family of God.
