As I see it, if the Egyptian revolution is Pillar of Defense II as another poster suggested, Israel has only a short window of time before Assad wins his civil war and O manages to get the Brotherhood back in power. Meanwhile you know Iran is using all of these distractions to move at warp speed to get herself prepared. Russia. That is the elephant in the room. I think the uncertainty of Russia getting into the mix has been a major factor in keeping things from going boom. Any thoughts? Am I wrong?

I think you're probably right about Russia, but I'm not so sure about Syria. If Assad wins, I think it'll be temporary. Same with the brotherhood. Dang, the chess pieces are moving too fast for me.

Clashes erupted Monday evening in Cairo's downtown between police forces and supporters of deposed Egyptian president Mohamed Morsi, who have been demanding Morsi's reinstatement.

Eyewitnesses told Ahram Online violence broke out after police forces fired teargas at pro-Morsi protesters to clear the Six of October Bridge, which was completely blocked by the demonstration.

Yes they are that is correct, wasn't aware that excercises involved violation another sovereign nations airspace though, that's pushing it if you ask me.
