WRONG. No-one in my family owned slaves. In fact less than 1% of the Pre Civil War population OWNED slaves. They would be considered the 1%'ers of today.

Contrary to legends and novels and Hollywood movies, the white traders did not need to savagely kill entire tribes in order to exact their tribute in slaves. All they needed to do is bring goods that appealed to the kings of those tribes. The kings would gladly sell their own subjects.

This explains why slavery became "black". Ancient slavery, e.g. under the Roman empire, would not discriminate: slaves were both white and black (so were Emperors and Popes).

My people were slaves under the old Roman Empire. My people got over it. We didn't destroy cities and turn them into Kosovo.

There is no way that anyone can paint a pretty picture regarding racism. What destroyed Detroit was simply greed.

Blacks will WITHOUT A DOUBT destroy an entire community. Saw it with my own eyes. I lived in a predominately white area growing up. I moved there when I was 7. At about 17 we started seeing a large influx of blacks. We moved when I was 19 because the place, inside of 2 years, became very unsafe. Gangs with guns roamed the streets at night. Prior to that, you could walk the streets at night without issue.

That was 20 years ago and this area, in a particular large American city, is the worst area in the entire city. It is 98% black now and the crime rate is the highest in the city. The place is a mess. Boarded up homes with busted out windows, empty buildings that once housed businesses that supported the community. Very sad sight to see. The black people absolutely destroyed this area.

That's a shame. The liberals will only be happy when the cities are 100% 'diverse'...
