I've done it, it works for heartburn and supposedly helps those who're having cancer related issues.

A lady got a Acv pill stuck in her throat and it burned a hole in it .

I dunno why you'd want to do it straight, that's nuts! I drink it sometimes mixed with water and a touch of sweetener, some apple pie spice too. I drink it through a straw because it can ruin your teeth otherwise.

This sounds interesting! I have the raw honey and organic maple syrup and I know where to get the Braggs ACV.

Would you please explain your recipe a bit further? How do you get the honey and syrup to mix with the ACV? stir it? heat it?

I have only heard of apple cider vinegar having the benefits.

Bumping since I'm enjoying my apple cider vinegar drink right now! I actually swigged some straight from the bottle yesterday and it was not too strong, but my main concern is enamel erosion so I ended up mixing the rest with water and drinking with a straw.

Mix the apple cider vinegar with about an ounce of water.

Here's a trick that works. Add a pinch of sugar or a drop or two of honey to the acv and water, stir, hold your nose while drinking. Drink all of it, and then let go of your nose. Holding your nose prevents the acid sting so common when drinking acv. Rinse your mouth out with warm water.

If you can handle it a few times a week, you'll notice an increase in energy. Get the Bragg vinegar. It has the "mother" and that's the best.

No kidding! I used to take a shot of that twice a day for heartburn and couldn't take it any more after two months. I NEVER GOT USED TO IT. I always felt like my teeth were being eaten away afterward too, so I'd always rinse and rinse and rinse...like a freak. Wasn't worth it.

ACV is good...caution...should not take raw...mix tbsp with about 6/8 oz of water twice daily should be ample...

i put a little cranberry juice in with it. makes it much more tolerable

Vinegar is just old wine that you left to oxidize...last time I did shots of wine was in high school...

when it's already diluted, you shouldn't worry too much about the effect on your teeth. I drink it mixed with warm water, some fresh squeezed lemon juice, and some raw manuka honey. Then I just follow with another 8oz or so of water just to make sure nothing sits in my mouth.

I've been taking a shot a day for the last 8-9 months.
I mix mine 1oz ACV with 6ozs Apple Cider.
The sweetness of the AC makes it easy to drink.

You need to do it every day. If you stop and then start again, you may experience a little diarrhea because it flushes the toxins from your system.

if you had heartburn everyday for 2 months, there is something severely wrong with your digestive system and ACV isn't going to fix it on its own.

Since my teeth don't seem to be that hard, I'd rather not take the chance...but if you throw in some apple pie spice, I bet you your drink would taste a lot like hot apple cider!

I take in oj. Guess it mask the taste as i do not notice that much. Did not know about the teeth.

It's gone now...it was a temporary issue.
