Anonymous Coward User ID: 23318413 United States 01/14/2013 11:53 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It starts with banning 'assault' weapons, large clips. they will try to get them, Obamer will just sign another executive order. Then another shooiting will take place, and another... and another... etc.. Then they say, "i'm sorry but the law has failed but most importantly the AMERICAN PEOPLE HAVE FAILED; we need to take MORE". justice fully clothed to hide a heart of glass |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 31812044 Since there is no such thing as a clip, they are not talking about magazines then. I already addressed this point, i meant magazines, i said clips because the OP said clips. I know the definition is wrong. Dont be a pedant. lol. |

I already addressed this point, i meant magazines, i said clips because the OP said clips. I know the definition is wrong. Dont be a pedant. lol. Im not talking about you. Dont be so defensive. I am talking about semantics. Even if these laws use the word magazine, as you well know, in the dictionary, the word for magazine, has a definition pertaining to a a collection of pieces of paper, with writing on it. I dont have a clip, or a magazine, attached to my rifle. I have a rectangular piece of metal, that holds rounds in it, and has a spring at the bottom, that feeds the rounds into the chamber. Do you see where I am going with this. Law is Semantics. If one can use semantics correctly, there is always a loophole in Law, for Language is fallible. |

Chris Murphy on Sunday said there is growing momentum in Congress for a ban on so-called assault weapons, saying lawmakers’ attitudes toward gun control have changed significantly in the wake of last month’s shooting rampage in Newtown, Conn. Quoting: Laura Bow “This issue is going to continue to move,” Mr. Murphy, Connecticut Democrat, said on CNN’s “State of the Union. “I do think that even in the Democratic caucus you see members like [Sens.] Joe Manchin and Mark Warner who previously probably never would have considered a ban on assault weapons or high-capacity magazine clips now coming to the table.” Mr. Murphy added that even some Republicans in the House, including Rep. Phil Gingrey of Georgia, have suggested they would consider universal gun background checks for firearms purchases and bans on high-capacity magazine gun clips. “That’s a sea change, if people like that in the Republican House caucus are willing to look at this,” Mr. Murphy said. More at [link to www.washingtontimes.com] Just proves they have no idea what they're talking about. There is no such thing as a "magazine clip" or "magazine gun clips". Stupid bastards. LOL...beat me to it...They're talking about AR15 and the likes which only use magazines....maybe they want M-1's on the list too? No that can't be, those are only 5 round clips....so you're right, they have no fucking idea of what they're talking about! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8950 There will be no AWB. There will be no HICAP ban There will be no closing the erroneously named "gun show" loophole. There will be nothing, absolutely nothing that is going to make it to the dictators desk that is anything more than a few hollow, feel good, completely irrelevant laws, conjured up to make it seem like the commies are "doing something" about gun control. They're going to ban guns by limiting ammo supply. It's already happening. |

Quoting: Lips Of Lucifer Well there it is. The Lawmakers, not the US citizens that pay them their fat salaries, have decided for those Millions of Little Americans that guns are bad for them because THEIR 'Attitudes' have changed while watching a wide screen TV at their exclusive, financially segregated and safe, Country Clubs. One Lawmaker said: "One must ensure that those little taxpayers at the front-line of violent crime should learn Kung-Fu instead of owning guns...My staff all know Kung-Fu, and have no firearms that I've noticed...When I get bored being safe in my 15 Bedroom Cottage, I gather the security together and we all jazz-a-cise to my favorite tune.. It's such jolly gay fun! |

Lawmaker's think citizens' attitudes have changed, and the lawmakers think they can squeeze in their fascist dreams of a disarmed peasantry now that the MSM is dry-humping Obama's gun-ban leg. I agree with you and I like the way you phrased it. It was nicely said. |

Crackerman User ID: 26860321 United States 01/14/2013 05:37 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Democratic West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin, a lifelong member of the NRA has said everything should be on the table to prevent another tragedy like Newtown. But he assured gun owners he would fight for gun rights at the same time. “I would tell all of my friends in NRA, I will work extremely hard and I will guarantee you there will not be an encroachment on your Second Amendment rights,” Manchin said on ABC’s “This Week.” Quoting: Anonymous Coward 2307487 LINK: [link to www.yourhoustonnews.com] Um, aren't these two statements conflicting if he's saying EVERYTHING should be on the table? Yes but since old Joe is a cock sucking bastard, it does not surprise me. He'll fuck gun owners if it benifits him in a heart beat. "Fuck is a good word, it covers a lot of shit." |
