Very interesting indeed....

For those of you who want verification, go to the 0:09 second mark in the video and pause it. Take a look at the shadows cast by the building, (The tress are a good sign too, but the building is more definite.) Now, while your video is paused, open up google earth and recreate that image you see from the helicopter.

You'll see that the school building has the parking lot on the East side, and the northernmost tip pf the school is that corner by the rounded edge of the parking lot.

That shadow is being cast from the South Southwest.

Even though this gives us one more piece of puzzle, where does it leads us ultimately?

I think we need a new compilation video featuring this and other evidence (such as the EMT road blockage and the fact that only one child was transported to the hospital from the scene). Could add the "where is Ms. Hammond?" aspect as well.

I've calculated the position of the shadows and come to the conclusion the footage is between noon and 1:30pm

Early on I recall someone saying that photos of the children were actually in the afternoon, not morning. Of course of I've also read that the photo of the kids, walking in a line with their eyes closed, wasn't even from Sandy Hook. So many lies, it's difficult to keep track. They should have hired a good continuity person for this farce.

I am afraid this isn't accurate.

You are correct that the parking lot lies North East of Sandy Hook School building, but if you go back to Google Earth, orient the satellite image so that up = North, you can use the measuring tool to calculate that the shadows are approximately 170 degrees (off North, measured clockwise). This equates to the sun being SOUTH SOUTH EAST.

Therefore these shots were definitely taken in the morning, and I would estimate between 9-10am.

No, it isn't accurate.

If the helo footage was taken in the AM in mid-December the building shadows should be oriented in exactly the direction shown in the helo footage.

To get a better idea of this, look at the small shed located in the lower center part of the helo footage at 37 seconds. The shadow points almost straight away from the shed into the parking lot.

Now go to google earth to view the same scene with your north oriented - which should be the default setting orientation. One can see that the sun would have to be to the southeast for the small shed's shadow to fall almost straight away from the shed into the parking lot. Based on the angle of the shadow and the season, I'd estimate the helo footage referenced in your post to have been taken at about 10:30 to 11:00 am.

It's also interesting to see from the google earth view that the "woods" behind the school was little more than one or two wooded lots.
