My daughter was four and she remembers. My family was having our morning coffee watching the Today Show when the first plane hit. We waited to see what was up when the second hit.

We went into panic mode cause that just doesn't happen. I got my child ready to go and we left to a safer location. Hell, we were scared to death. It was a declaration of war!

I think people might underestimate what kids can remember. If it is traumatic to the parents, no matter how hard they try to hide it, it is traumatic to the child.

I find it hard to believe any child at the age of four has no memory unless mom and dad were f'ed up.

911 cost me 20 years of hard work toward a medical career that I was 95% close to completing.

Our kids are almost 13 and 15 and they know about the 9/11 attacks. Yet we've have educated them in culture and historical events that goes way beyond the watered down education system.
