I read an article recently (can't remember where) that interviewed a woman who said she cried but felt she had too because she was afraid what would have happened to her if she didn't.
Her tears were not sincere she said.
My point is, the "People" spoken of do not exist... the "People" equates to the government. Sad.

The only thing "the people" demand is that their leaders stop cross-dressing.

My guess is more sanctions followed, eventually, by an actual conflict against South Korea.

Or, more logically, NK uses the situation to start over with another aid package to halt the tests. Only time will tell.

Nothing what North Korea does is without prior knowledge and sanction of China and Russia. China is pretending to be 'tough' on the DPRK to a) distance themselves from possible escalation effects b) present a postive image to the West and c) buy the DPRK more time to do what they have to do.
