Ethan is out!!! Dykes is dead!!! Praise God!!!!

Yes it has been on news for days. My husband was there watching everything unfold. He is a member of dothan fire department. He personally saw little Ethan. I can't believe someone would say this is a hoax.

Well, I'm also in Dothan. I have the most respect for our fire dept. They have always been so professional, and gone out of their way to help me when I needed them. They were there when I had a fender bender, and even helped me put my daughter's car seat in my car.

News is saying this happened today, Feb 4!

On January 29, Ethan was captured and taken into the bunker. The original name of this thread was "Shooting - Child Being Held Hostage In Midland City, Al. Today, I changed it when he was rescued.

I don't feel like reading through 13 pages but did anyone else here wonder why they just didn't pump some anesthesia down the pipe, knock them both out and enter peacefully? If anyone would say that might harm the kid...A FUCKING FLASH/CONCUSSION grenade is safer when a man has a gun in is hand?!? Make sense, disorient and blind a man with a gun then rush him!

Fucking cops and FBI, always thinking "outside the box"!!!
Don't get me wrong, a bullet is cheaper than the life in prison and court costs but I have no idea how that kid mad it out alive because it seems nothing was learned from WACO.

They said there were reasons they didn't do that. They still can't give alot of info. Officials from DC are coming to do a thorough inspection. They have to make sure there are no more bombs on the property, etc. Once everything is cleared, then we'll find out more.

This story is a load of crapola.

I love how they take something that has very little need for secrecy and turn it into a matter of "security" and can release very little details. Things like this breed GLP'ers! To say it’s safer to execute the man in the presence of a kid and fire shots in a 6ft x 9ft bunker is just lunacy! They wanted him dead, period, if the kid made it out ok…BONUS!

I was right about something for once...

The FBI Hostage Rescue Team blew the doors off the bunker and shot dead the survivalist during the daring raid yesterday afternoon after footage from a secret hi-tech camera showed the boy’s life was in ‘imminent danger’.

Agents became increasingly concerned the 65-year-old's behavior would turn violent after their negotiations with him 'deteriorated' in the final 24 hours.

If Dykes had access to the internet, why did he not have a presence?

Yeah. I heard one of the cameras was put in Ethan's hot wheels car that they lowered into the bunker. Since Ethan was often holding the car in his hand, they were able to get a good view of Dykes.

After watching the cam, they could see that Dykes had his gun in hand. They told him they needed to administer Ethan's medicine. Drones flew over the bunker ready to shoot. They used the cameras to see exactly where Ethan was in relation to Dykes. When Dykes opened the bunker, several people were in there within seconds. Dykes did shoot at them.
