Many people have never heard of Radio Frequency Radiation also known as RF Radiation and/or Electromagnetic Radiation and classified as one of the Non-ionizing type of radiations. Why do so many innovators, whether they be programmers, scientists, or whatever like to create these powerful gadgets and then simply hand them over to the govt. or some other powerful entity to then possibly be used against them in the future? Then, when power and finance is centralized the ptb can decide which of your projects gets funding. And if the project gets funded they get to take it from you as soon as its done and possibly use it against you. Why do you build your own cage? Why do you create the tools of your own slavery & demise? Freedom is a friend to the innovators out there. Recognize before it's too late.

Anything the gummint proposes that seems to be good for us is to be considered highly suspect. I don't the major comm companies are going anywhere. This national Wi-Fi will allow more sensors to be put up so as to watch our every move better. Will it link to drones? Anyway, count on it being a sham offering. Am I paranoid? Yep, wrt our gummint, I sure am.

The system is so corrupt. Why would anyone want to give them more power? They're like OJ Simpson looking for the real killers out on the golf course or something. Hunting phantom bad guys while they plot all the real evil of the world. It's too bad our supposed free market lions are in on it so as to provide no countermeasure to the govt. power grab. When there were initial rumblings about the impending creation of an internet back in the 1970s, there was talk it would be available for free. Therefore, it should be that way along with private outlets so that everyone can communicate as they wish without any form of impediment.

The major comm companies probably won't go anywhere. The free internet will probably be operated by big comm via govt. no bid contracts. Or it will end up like Obamacare where a few get it free while everyone else is mandated to purchase from big comm co. Is it fascism or communism? Same result.

they may even bring AT&T back from the dead to handle the whole thing :)

If I was a cop, I'd be very worried about now. Not just that your pension is toast (you'll most likely never see a penny other than some promises as your fund has fully vested in TP treasury bonds) but that eventually robots will be doing your job to police the mob.

Of course for the real dirty work there will always be jack booted thugs, but as a percentage far, far less. After all robots can be counted on not having a conscience to get in the way of questionably ethical decisions.
