I've never thought it was "cool'. From what I've seen its a bunch of douche bag house wives bragging about their kids and amazing lives, trying to impress each other with how awesome they are. Of course thats just MHO. I prob don't have a good grasp of it because I've only been there a couple of times.

I closed my facebook years ago...my fake friends were always posting on my wall. Talking about how great our hangout was yesterday and we should do it again (for everyone to see) instead of inboxing me. It's a big narcissistic circle jerk.

the only people that annoyed me were my old hs classmates, everyone was always trying to 'one up' each other, yet they were still all a bunch of backstabbing gossips, despite acting like they truly cared. Nosy voyueristics, so I deleted them. After that I got no problems on there, I am able to keep tabs on my dad, lol.

I've only used facebook to talk with friends who I havn't seen in years. I also use it to try to wake people up with the injustice in the world.
