Is the Pacific Plate going to break up near Santa Cruz?
Since the 8.0 magnitude quake there, there has been over 60 quakes Mag 5.0 and above there. Those can't be just ordinary aftershocks. Aftershocks are supposed to be decreasing in strength, and yet we had a 6 pointer in that area after the swarm of 5 pointer(aftershocks?).

So, my question is, is the Pacific Plate about to break and rupture near the Santa Cruz islands area? damneddamned

I thought foreshocks increased and after shocks decreased

So all the quakes that have happened so far, including the 8.0 yesterday, were all just foreshocks for an even larger quake, such as 8.8+ or above, to strike Santa Cruz soon? hidinghiding

Re: Is the Pacific Plate going to break up near Santa Cruz?
It is very active, to say the least, I saw a thread earlier today about 4 Volcanoes in Kamchatka,S.E. Russia, all erupting at the same time,so clearly, something very BIG is happening on those plates in the Eastern and North Eastern parts of the "Ring of Fire".
I'm not sure if you are a believer in Gods Word but I am.
As such I am looking for events that have been predicted in the Bible, the timing is right and 'All the ducks are in a row' basically.
So this is what I am looking for,In the book of Revelations we are told that 'Something like a Mountain fell into the Sea' by John.
And then John said that following that event a star was seen in the sky and it fell upon the Earth (all or part of it is uncertain,to me.)
And a third of the Sea became Red and the waters of the Earth were made bitter and many men (People)died because the water was bitter.
I am not directly quoting the Bible, this is just my paraphrasing or my 'Take on the Tale' Jist of the story.
If you Google Comet Lemmon, you will find that it is currently being viewed, with binoculars in Australia,New Zealand,South America and other places South of the Equator.
It is Green....It is Green because one of the primary chemicals in it's 'body' is Cyanogen or basically Cyanide, one of the deadliest poisons known to man,you can Google that too.
It will be visible in the Northern Hemisphere around April 2nd I think, as far as I know,we will go through It's tail @August 3,2013.
The curious thing about it is it's color, much like the drink Absynth, a main ingredient of Absinthe is the herb Wormwood, named specifically as the toxic star by St.John in Revelations.
For Wormwood to show up, something like a Mountain has to fall into the Sea FIRST! It could be Volcanic or it could be
The Asteroid DA14,skimming by on Feb 14th, very close.
Or it could be NONE OF THE ABOVE.
I think we have reached That time and are familiar with Jesus Christ, if not, you should start looking for him (Fast).
I hope you are near high ground or can get to it as I know Malay would be Tsunami prone.yoda

Last year it took two double Mag 8+ quakes to rupture the Indo-Australian plate, one is a Mag 8.7 and the other is a Mag 8.2. The pressure and shock from those two quakes reverberated throughout that plate, causing pressure and tear that caused the rupture of that Indo-Australian plate. So, in order for the Pacific Plate, which is thicker to rupture there near Santa Cruz, requires multiple low 9-pointers in a span of a few minutes......

The end of times is upon us. The plates have all broken up causing all the sinkholes you see in the news. Sink holes only happen when tectonic plates break up. Expect all the continents to sink into the ocean in the coming days.

I remembered somewhere from an Internet source that the Pacific Plate will rupture somewhere this year before June. The sources said a weakened magnetic field causes lots of magma and lava to get extremely agitated, thus stimulating greater tectonic plate and crustal activity, along with local gravity anomalies that would enable easy rupture of plates when combined with other factors.....hiding

No, it's not the only reason sinkholes open up--
