Psalm 46:10 Truth needs no validation because it is self-evident and undeniable. Therefore, anything that requires validation to be realized or justified as truth must contain at least some degree of falsehood. Light travels faster than sound. Really? They spoke out against the injustices occurring around them and around the world, and they had the fortitude to walk the walk, instead of just talk the talk. I think you might have written that comment before you had a chance to think about it. "Be still, and know that I am God." However, simply doing the right thing for yourself is not good enough when there is evil that goes unchallenged, particularly when the innocent suffer as a result. We have been bred to stay away from judgment for fear of being judged, and we have fallen away from all that is righteous and good by ignoring the spread of evil. You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community.” - Adolf Hitler “If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.” -Oscar Wilde Have a nice day, may God bless you :D |

From the genocide occurring in Syria to the worldwide victims of human trafficking and rape, examples of evil are never short in supply, abundance, and severity. However, this evil does not occur in a vacuum of indicators, causes, and pain - it occurs solely on the grounds that the good people in this world who know it is wrong choose to do nothing about it. It is this lack of concern and utter complacency that has led to the culture of corruption, immorality, violence, and death we see today. Quoting: Rising Son Many will claim that there is nothing that can be done, that the way the world works is beyond their individual or collective ability to affect it. On the surface, this may seem accurate, but it ignores the incredible examples of individuals, lone people in history that have made an amazing and lasting impact on the world. These are people like Mahatma Ghandi, Mother Teresa, Martin Luther King, and countless others who chose to be the change instead of continuing to regret the sadness of reality. We cannot count on political leaders and those in power to make this happen for us, they are too far gone in their aspirations and ambitions to care about the state of the world, least of all the benefit of others. We must do this, all of us, no matter where you come from, what you do for work, or what your political or religious leanings may be. We can help to bring about real change by our actions, by our own example. You can be an inspiration to others if you want to, and when you can bring hope to someone who would not have had it otherwise, you become a hero. |

Because that is the truth. Without dark, there is no light. |

Life goes against the rules...always rebelling. That depends on your life perspective - if you are resistant to all things of order, and choose to live against the grain on each and every thing you do, then you eliminate the possibility that there may be some goodness in order and civility. Everyone is different, but we all must find a way to peacefully live together. Trying to relate to someone different or being empathetic goes a long way in that endeavor, but it is also important to remember your individuality, and not allow yourself to be a floor mat for the world.
